Heart Have missed you all

Shame on me, not to take time and stop in. My life has been emotionally and physically draining.
I miss everyone so much. My family has kept me crazy busy. I watch my grandson three days a week when my son goes to work at 4 AM. The lil guy is 10 now. He has had share of health issues. He had caught whooping cough off his other grandma who was in the hospital in Phila with heart problems so I was with him weeks, then he started with headaches-migraines.

January 2 we welcomed a new grandson, Hunter, my younger son's girlfriend. She has two older girls. While it is wonderful having a new baby, the situation is strained. With her returning to work I will be helping a few days a week with child care. Hunter is a tiny peanut, he was only 5lb 4 oz when he was born and still at 6 weeks a tiny thing in new borns, he doesn't even fit in 0-3 months yet. Last Saturday he gave us his first smile. He is the only baby I ever had of all the families kids, my kids and other grandson that is perfect in no colic, no milk allergies, sleeps on schedule. not cranky, whimpers to have a diaper change or eat. ALmost scary how quiet he is.

My younger daughter is in PT for her leg pains, she has been a tip toer for her life and it limits how long and far she can walk. She has been seeing someone for the anxiety and taking some meds, some work okay some not so well. They did an enzyme test that showed her metabolism to which ones are recommended and which are the best. She hated the weight gain and is terribly upset. We are hoping the PT will help with that coming back off and with the med change.

I have not had work from the company that sent me on claims. there was fraud from our office and court indictment stopped all work in out office for 100 miles. It has been a huge loss of income. My SSDI is only $700 a month before health care is taken out or medications paid for,

My sister is doing okay, she is stronger, but still battles. She had her pool open last summer and with the really record breaking warm summer we had a lot of days laying in the pool on a dual raft float.

My husband had his cataracts removed, but still has some glazing issues. They are working on it. He is working and picking up hours to help with my income loss as I try to find more work.

My son faces another surgery soon from the rear ender car accident he had been in. They will have to fuse a level higher then the last fusion. He is still working at the airport and it kills him. If he took off work from this new injury he would have lost his job.

So it seems I am up all night fretting, run for everyone during the days, catch a nap here or there and run some more. It is hard, my thyroid is burned out, fatigue is very bad and my auto immune shot.

Oh, I have been volunteering as a CASA advocate, court appointed special advocate, in the foster care and endangered youth of the county. I just got my second family of three boys over the holidays. The judge was thrilled when I volunteered and always makes a special point to thank me and call the agency and tell them what a wonderful contribution I am for the court and families.

But I love that I am alive when I wake up and try to do all I can that day..
I promise to be in more. I miss my friends so much. i know I am not alone, I have wonderful friends.
Hugs
di
