I saw my pdoc today.
and I was honest about my discomfort with feeling like she was judging me and felt bad about getting hypomanic, like it was my fault.
this surprised her and she was somewhat defensive. She asked me specifically what made me feel this way today. And I told her it has been going on for a while and that I had thought about switching pdocs but wanted to work it out with her.
She thinks I am not fully medicated enough, have too many hypo manic episodes a year.
what I failed to defend myself is the past 2 times have been from lack of meds: decrease in geodon and the trazadone made me manic.
I am going to write her a letter and claim my say in this matter.
She wants me to do a mood chart and a sleep chart and wants me to send her monthly drinking charts.
She doesn't know how to change my meds until she has more information from me. "data"
Well we will see about that.
I am going to have jeff help me with the letter so that it is accurate, then I will post it here.

Bizi, I hope that you enjoy your trip :).

Getting official documentation about your meds is a good idea. Sometimes customs people get a bit suspicious about what are to them mysterious drugs but something official from your prescribing doctor will help.

yes, I asked her that letter today, she will call me when it is finished.
She agreed to write me a script for zethromycin z-pack if I needed it, which was nice of her.

I would love to tour the catacombs! I look forward to hearing about more of the things you and Jeff are going to be doing on your trip :)

I'm no fan of your pdoc, but I think the mood chart is a good idea.
But why NOW?
I don't know why in the hell she reduced your geodon in the first place, why it's taken her so long to figure out you're cycling too often and to make the connection with your drinking?

None of this is your fault Bizi :hug::hug:
Don't ever let anyone let you feel that way :hug::hug:
