I hope that you did get some sleep
And I hope that you can find some kind of consistent success with the sleep meds at night, or the pdoc will let you switch back to klonopin.

bizi 01-19-2017 08:32 PM

mari, aren't you still taking klonipin for sleep?
I am confused....

I take Klonopin for Anxiety. I take it at night and have for years: 2.5 mg.

The pdoc has been asking that I take a little extra Klonopin as I deal with the anxiety side effects from various meds that she asked me to try.

She has given me some sleep meds. Some had side effects that I could not handle.
Lunesta seems o.k.

For the past two or three days I have had chest pain. I do not know what is causing that or how to get it to lessen.

I am working with a recipe for meds, side effects, and benefits of meds, along with getting up for work, performing at work and sleep.

I think you are really trying to get things working for you. I am glad that the lunesta is ok for you.
Good luck as you journey towards better sleep.
I don't know what to think of your chest pain.
It could be the anxiety, dad went to the er once when he was younger convinced he was having a heart attack, it was anxiety.

I agree with Bizi that the chest pain could be from anxiety... it happens to me from time to time.

You could also try taking an antacid to see if it is heartburn- a side effect of one of the meds, or a combo of them. It's not always something that happens just after you eat. I prefer Gaviscon. I think it's better and works faster than others like tums.

I'm glad that you aren't having problems with the Lunesta.
I wish that you were having an easier time in general though :hug::hug:

Rival Sons - Open My Eyes (Live at Juke Joint Studio)

My TV connection to the cable company went out Monday.
The technician is coming Wednesday to fix it.

In the meantime, I am amusing myself with youtube:
"Somebody come and open my eyes . . . "

I hope they get your cable up and running tomorrow.

That stinks... I hate waiting for stuff like that to be repaired. I'm glad you've been able to occupy yourself in the meantime :)

Hubby

The cable got fixed. Now hubby wants to change to satellite to save money.

A few days ago he said he felt "old."
That surprised me and worried me.
I was supportive in a general sense but did not know what to say until a few days later
because he could not explain at the time.

Then tonight he said he was "tired."
I tried to be helpful because I care about him but he freaked me out.

=-=-

He has always had a mood component (his own slight highs and lows) and he has some other weird stuff too -- all un diagnosed.

I wonder how much my depression/anxiety affects him.
I am fighting every minute. I try not to remind him of that.
I tell him that things are REALLY hard for me only when he is
occasionally making things worse and I need him to stop being weird/difficult.

It looks
like I have to improve things for the both of us.

mari, I wish your life was easier.
I know that you love your students and am glad for that.
I am also glad that you have your husband whom you love and care about. Life would be very hard alone.
((((HUGS))))
