I've only been taking the Rexulti since Monday night, but I feel so much better this morning!
Now I need to be watchful that it doesn't start making me feel too good, especially since it has worked so fast. My mood can shift to mania very quickly.

The laundromat was quiet yesterday, and it only took me 2 hours to get the laundry done. My load was lighter this week, and doing it didn't aggravate my neck as much as usual

Corey brought in his drill last night. He's been bothered by the damaged blinds in the bedroom too, so I guess he's motivated to get the curtains up this weekend. It will be nice not to have to nag him to do something for a change

I'm getting a haircut today because my hair has gotten so long, even putting it up wet has become a problem. I'm feeling vain because I'm also fixated on the chipped polish on one of my fingernails lol. It's driving me ****iing nuts! I'm going to make a temporary fix and get an earlier appointment at the nail salon.

When I decided to get my haircut, I didn't even think about getting my hair washed… OMG, never again!!! At least not until my neck is better. I'm happy with my haircut, and it will make life easier later, but my neck is so ****ed up right now.

The polished peeled off another nail last night. I don't know what happened when she did my nails last week, but this is a first. I bought special polish remover and a similar shade of $3 nail polish. It will do for now. I will see if they can squeeze me in Monday.

So much for Corey being motivated to put up the curtains…He sat on his *** all day. It will probably take him 10 minutes to drill in the brackets. I need the drapery rod up so I have somewhere to hang the curtain panels after I iron them…

We are supposed to go out to lunch today (knock on wood), and I'm sure we will be catching the rest of the Pats game, which starts at 1pm, when we get home. So, I don't know when this curtain business is going to happen, but I will be so p***ed if it doesn't.

The litter boxes need changing, and I need a big bucket of litter to do it. So while I had Corey at my mercy, I dragged him to Target to grab one, and a few other things. He was surprisingly good about it

I wanted to go to a Japanese steakhouse, and we tried a new one yesterday. I ordered my steak medium-rare, but it was really, really, really overcooked, and the food in general was not very good. Then it made me sick when I got home. At least I got to go out though, and the company was good lol

He never put the brackets for the curtain rod up yesterday. He said he will do it today after he gets home from work (not likely). If I take a nap, he will use that as an excuse for not doing it. Even if I don't, he still probably won't. I'm so ****ing frustrated…

I didn't watch much of the Pats game yesterday because when I watch football, I JUST WANT TO WATCH FOOTBALL. Do I have an opinion about the issues going on? OF course, but does politics have to ruin EVERYTHING now? Next Sunday I will try watching the game with the sound OFF. It's all they're talking about on the news this morning, so I'm not watching that either

I have the first appointment with the physiatrist this morning. I have no idea how that will go. I'm pretty ****ing banged up. I don't like the possibility of lots of tests, imaging, etc. I see lots of PT in my future.

I also have to have my blood drawn again since my lymphocytes and eosinophils were high 2 weeks ago.

I'm also going to see if I can get in to get my nails done- tomorrow at the latest.

Kay,

Lots of T.V. I watch without sound.

I used to read text because reading is not as bad as hearing stuff, but
with our latest t.v., I have not had hubby set up the text stuff for me.

Now I just MUTE the b.s.

Sorry the game was messed up for you. I know you look forward to watching
the Pats.

Good luck with the physiatrist. I hope the appt helps you feel better.

I left the physiatrist's office feeling dejected, but I think that is mostly because I had unrealistic expectations. I think I overwhelmed him by telling him too many of my pain issues at the outset, and as a result, I'm almost positive he thinks I'm a nut case.

Long story short, he asked me to to pick the ONE issue that is bothering me the most, and of course I told him it's my neck… But I ALREADY have a "neck guy," and I guess I was hoping he could help me with more than that. Hence my disappointment.

He examined me and told me that I have trigger points on both sides of my neck which could be contributing to my neck problems, and wants me to see a special kind of chiropractor, who can perform myofascial release:
Myofascial release - Wikipedia

Apparently it will hurt me a lot more before I get results…. I can't ****ing imagine that, and don't like the prospect of it, but I will try it since both of the injections I've had failed (he doesn't want me to have anymore injections).

I know I have some sort of injury (since the moving process) to my left shoulder in addition to the radiculopathy from the herniated disc. The ortho dx me with a rotator cuff injury (I didn't tell the physiatrist that), but he didn't order any imaging or treatment. The physiatrist ordered an X-Ray, but those don't show soft tissue injuries, so I'm sure nothing will turn up. I don't see him for 2 months, so I doubt it will go anywhere.

I also had my blood drawn again since my lymphocytes and eosinophils were high 2 weeks ago, but I expect the results will be normal.

After all that crap, I managed to get in for a mani/pedi. The UV light box was lighting up, but not heating up, and the same thing happened the last time I was there, so I bet that's why my polish started to peel off. Jade worked my feet too hard this time and I have an abrasion on my heel. I can't feel my feet, so I'm glad I checked them.

I need to do some cleaning today. Between the depression and all the appointments I've had, the apartment is a mess. I don't think I'm in any condition to do everything I want to though, and I will have to pace myself.

I have to trim the kitties' nails… It looks like they are secretly scratching the furniture again… bad kitties!!!
Why didn't I pop another refill into that 2nd diffuser?!

I am sorry you felt dejected.
That sounds very disappointing and I understand your frustration.
I wonder if they would all be like that or just him? Could you get another opinion?

Is that pill not working for your depression? rats. abby is parasite free! I saw her go yesterday and was I happy. I am afraid she is going to break her neck with all her climbing. do you kitties like catnip? Pudge is just totally passive except when i pet her. I have given up with abby's scratching.
