Corey put the drapery rod up yesterday afternoon and I ironed all 4 curtain panels and put them up… I am NOT happy with them. They are very thin and look like they would be more appropriate for a college dorm room than an adult bedroom. And because they are so lightweight, and hung by grommets, the cats could easily move them out of place if they jumped up to look out the window… so no guarantee of privacy, which was the point of putting up the curtains in the first place.

I had a coupon for "20% off your entire purchase" at BBB that expired today, so I went out to look for new curtains. I didn't find any I was in love with, so I went to Sears and the JC Penney Home Store to see what they had to offer (nothing but $*** BTW). I ended up going back to BBB, but they didn't have 63" length in either or my first 2 options…

I'M TOTALLY NEUROTIC, so I couldn't make a decision and was in there for about an HOUR trying to decide between 2 different sets. I sent Corey pictures, but he was of no help, so I was on my own. Eventually, I asked another lady shopper if she thought one set looked cheap or not. She said no, so I decided to purchase them, but I won't be satisfied I made the right choice until I iron the new curtains and put them up. Even then, who knows…

I would go back to BBB AGAIN today, but Corey would probably have me committed lol.

Sometimes I have a really hard time making decisions, and get short-term buyer's remorse, but this was is on a whole other level. You'd think it was a life or death decision… I think it's safe to say it's a product of the episode I've been having. It was misery. I will see how I do today, but I will probably call my pdoc tomorrow and talk to her about raising the Rexulti to 2mg.

The new curtains are heavier and darker than the other ones, so at least they are an improvement, and I have decided they are going up in the bedroom no matter what. I have a nickel plated curtain rod and want Corey to put it up in the kitchen so I can put other curtains up in there. The curtains are black, so the set up will match the black/stainless steel appliances. We won't be closing the curtains in there, so the issues with them won't matter.

Hopefully when I post tomorrow, all I'll have to say about the curtains is that I'm pleased with them

Kay,

I think I understand the decision making and stuff you were going through.
And I would want appropriate curtains too.

Wonderful when you can get input from someone else, even if just a another shopper.

I hope that they work for you when you see them hung up.

I don't have to isolate myself with all manic episodes. It's a mixed bag.

Between Saturday and Sunday, I ironed (8) 63"x 50" curtain panels

The new curtains in the bedroom are a vast improvement. They look really sharp and will do the job, so I am happy with them
The other set of curtains look nice in the kitchen, but there is a bare wall in there, and now the room looks unfinished. Eventually, I will find something to do with it.
I will be ordering the bed frame I want soon- with or without Corey's blessing. If he can buy a $200 pair of non-prescription sunglasses without discussing it with me first, I can buy a ****ing $200 bed frame.

I told Corey Saturday night that I wanted the curtains to go up in the kitchen vs. the spare bedroom, but he forgot our conversation because he was drunk. He was put out because he moved (the very lightweight) desk before I reminded him I didn't want the curtains in there, so he threw a fit even though it only took him 10 minutes to put the ****ing curtain rod up….

He gets frustrated with me because my memory is so bad, but I never know what he will or won't remember because it's hard to tell how drunk he is sometimes. The next time he gives me **** for not remembering something, we are going to have a conversation about his "memory problems."

There was a box of living room stuff in the living room, but there is nowhere to put the things in the box since Corey threw away the floating shelves before we moved. I moved the box, and I finally got him to bring out the ottoman that matches our set. The living room looks much better, and more lived in, now.

I have my Tysabri infusion today. I can't imagine sitting still for over 2 hours right now, but I have to do it.
I'm just all over the place in general. I'm going to call my pdoc today to ask for her blessing to raise the Rexulti to 2mg tonight. That's where she wanted it anyway, so I expect her to give me the go ahead.

I'm having problems with my Keurig coffee maker. 2 days in a row, it had what seemed to be mechanical problems that I was able to troubleshoot, but on the third day, a "computer" problem emerged. I called customer support, but they were of no help, and our warranty just expired. It's a PITA, but will still brew a cup of coffee. I'm sure some day soon it won't. And when that day comes, I'll be running right out to buy a new one. I just cannot do without.

I was out of it yesterday... just really confused in the morning. I lost an hour, got lost on the way to my appointment, couldn't find anything I was looking for because I forgot my purse fell over, and was REALLY missing my iced coffee because I forgot it in the car before going into the hospital. I got better as the day went on tho. Usually it's the opposite. lol.

It's supposed to take about 2 hours to get the Tysabri- an hour to run the drug, and an hour of observation. Yesterday I got the same damned slow nurse I had last time. It took about 2 1/2 hours just for her to finish infusing the med. I signed out AMA and didn't stay for the observation period again. I don't know if I'll hear anything about it from my neuro, but it's ridiculous for them to expect me to wait that long because the nurse is inept.

I was thinking about my upcoming appointment with the chiropractor for the "myofascial release" treatment for my neck, and I don't think I have coverage to see chiropractors. I looked his name up on my plan's website, and he's not listed. So, I don't know if I'll be getting those treatments or not. And if not, I don't know what the physiatrist will recommend instead. I don't have an appointment with HIM for another 2 months. I submitted a request for the referral, and I guess we'll just see what happens.

I also sent a message to the office this morning through the patient portal asking them to post the results from last week's repeat blood work. I haven't heard anything, which means it must have been fine, but I'm just curious.

I have a bladder/kidney ultrasound on Friday afternoon, but I'm free until then. I have some cleaning to do, and will have to do laundry at some point, but it will be nice to have some time to myself...
I plan on coloring my hair and baking a cake (with a mix this time).
I'm entertaining the thought of hitting the local outlets, but that depends on how I'm feeling/walking. Corey won't like the idea of that, but I'm not consulting him on it.

I am going to do a little cleaning this morning, but haven't decided what else I will do.

The polish has chipped off my right index finger, 1 week after I had them done again. I know it's the UV light box Mai used the last two times. She's going to have to use a different one next time. In the meantime, I'll go to CVS and and pick something up to hold me over until my appointment on Monday. I have scripts to pick up today anyway.

Buddy is being SUPER annoying this morning.
I can't believe I was able to post anything. He keeps climbing all over me, and headbutting and rubbing his nose all over my hands... it's not cute when he's doing it for hours.

Great that you like your curtains in the one room.

Good luck with the curtains in the kitchen.

=-=
Hubby needed the place to have only these colors:
White, brown, chrome
I am o.k. with it.
=-=

It will be nice to have the bed frame you like.

Does leaving notes or making a list help him know/recognize that you did tell him something?

It looks like the living room is coming together!
===================
Did the Tysabri help you?

Right, the blood work is probably fine, but it is your blood and if you had it you
could compare it to the last draw and so on.

Relax if you can while you are between appts.

I'm really glad I messaged my doctor to ask him to post my lab results so I could take a look at them (I mentioned it was a redraw) because I ended up getting a message back from him saying I need to have blood work checked again in another 3 weeks. I compared my results, and there are no significant changes (my lymphocytes and eosinophils are still high and my neutrophils are low).

Mari, I've been on Tysabri twice before, and it hasn't helped. I'm back on it because my MS has been active, so I really should be on something, and it's the best thing that's currently available. Honestly... I really want Corey to feel like I'm doing something to help manage the MS.

Corey would absolutely freak out if I ever made any kind of a honey-do list. He usually only needs one reminder to know what I want/need him to do, he's just too stubborn and/or lazy to do it. I can imagine him saying something along the lines of "don't treat me like a child."

I think I'm going to put a Felix the Cat-like clock on the middle of that bare wall in the kitchen and the add some odds and ends later. I think it will look cute up there.

Bobby, you are right absolutely right... I don't know how to relax!!!
With Corey's prodding, I had been starting to use Xfinity On-Demand more often before I got depressed. He wants me to use NetFlix, too. Watching programs requires sitting still, which is hard for me, even at baseline because I can always find something that needs doing.

Next week, I have a manicure Monday morning (even though it's a holiday), and I see the chiropractor on Wednesday if the referral goes through. I have three appointments the following week... 2 on the same day

I did go to the outlets yesterday because I wanted to hit a HUGE sale before everything good was gone. I got a much lighter purse and smaller wallet for a song. It was not like buying curtains... I knew what I wanted/needed and was in and out of the store in about 15 minutes. My ortho will be very happy the next time I see him. I got a rash of **** because he said my purse was WAY too heavy for me.

I wanted to stay home today, but I'm going to have to go out to buy Corey a cable to charge his phone because the cats chewed it. I wonder what other trouble I can get into...

We are both having problems since the last iPhone update. It's nothing new to me. It wasn't a big deal to him before, but now that it's happening with HIS phone, it's the end of the world...

He told me I can't get a new phone until he gets his, and he is waiting until the iPhone X comes out in November.

That would be cool!

Did you still like it after you got the purse home?
I like buying purses. I want the option to change my mind depending on what I am doing and carrying.

Men really cannot handle much.

Some folks on line are having problems with the iphone updates.
I usually try not to update until they send out a second or third update.
ALso if you have backed up the phone before the update, (iTunes ?) you can go back to the previous version.

I am haveing issues with iCloud PW and will have to call APPle for help when ever I am in the mood.

I already spent a lot (seemed like anyway) in IT at work dealing with the laptop and password and stuff.
I was in a grouchy mood but it could have been because of the tremendous rain storm I got caught it.

I realize now that the note thing did not make sense. Hubby and
I leave notes and sometimes he texts me because we sleepy completely
different times.

If you like iphones, get the 10 but I do not see hubby and me getting that.
I heard that it is great for selfies. Probably other cool stuff.

And isn't the phone initially selling for $1,000 ?
