Thank you ladies :hug::hug::hug:

Bizi, I'm only going to do PT once a week for now. I will do my exercises at home tho so I don't fall behind.
I only get my nails done every other week. My manicure would hold up longer than that, but I like to switch colors.
Money is too tight to go for massages.
I got my haircut on Saturday, and colored my hair myself Monday (?).

I got up at 6am this morning, but was able to go back to bed until about 9. This is a new thing. I was never able to sleep in or fall back to sleep before I started smoking pot before bed. I need the rest, so it's a good thing, but I also feel a little lazy because of it. I haven't had any problems waking up to an alarm when I have early appointments tho. And it's still controlling my spasticity, so I'm still sleeping through the night (most nights) :)

It's lottery day, and I have to go grocery shopping. There are other things I could do, but I know I'm just not going to get to them.

I spent a lot of time researching all the ins and outs of many health plans yesterday. I ended up sticking with the same plan, even though the premium is going up along with the copays for just about everything. The clincher was the coverage for chemotherapy (Tysabri is considered chemotherapy). Paying more for that every month would definitely not lower my health care costs. In the end, I just didn't see anything better out there. I hope I made the right choice. I can't see into the future tho.

It sounds like you made the right decision.

Another appointment this morning... this time with the neck ortho.

I'm exhausted. And in a lot of pain again, of course.

I went grocery shopping yesterday and the girl at the register had no bagger, so she expected me to put the bags in the cart, which was in front of me. I was too embarrassed/too stubborn/too IDK what to tell her I am handicapped and couldn't/shouldn't do that, and ended up pulling something in my back and f***ing up my left shoulder worse trying to get the cat litter into the cart :(

I have to call the PT place today to tell them I need to cancel those 2 appointments so I don't get charged for the Monday appointment.

I need to do some cleaning this weekend... I am way behind.

Call the store to let them know what happened and to ask
them what they expect you to do in the future.

I would have spoken up.
I've done this for other things (not groceries) when my brain is so spacey --- Something like: I am sorry but I need help. Can someone else do this for me please?

This is not acceptable. Its one thing if you offer to do it.
But she should have gotten it done for you, did it herself,
or even called management to help.

Yesterday, I saw the neck ortho's PA, who was very nice. Since my neck is very, very tight and I have limited ROM, he thinks I will benefit from the PT I will be getting. So, I will see him again at the end of January, and hopefully I will be in less pain, and I won't need any more injections in my neck.

I've been very disorganized lately, which is very unlike me. Yesterday I finally got around to putting all my appointments into my iCal.
Right now, it looks like my appointments start to spread out A LOT after the 20th.

So I just have to get through two more weeks of this ****...

In the future, I'm going to have to do a much better job of making sure I don't schedule myself for more than one appointment a week.

Good luck in all that you are doing kay.
I want better pain free days for you.
I am hoping PT helps you.
have a good weekend!

We got our first snow of the year... it snowed all day yesterday into this morning. It's beautiful, but the cleanup is always ugly.

I was planning on vacuuming the bedrooms and cleaning the hard floors, but now I don't know if that will happen today. I don't have any appointments tomorrow, but had/have plans to run errands rather than clean, and I doubt I'll have the energy to do everything.

I guess I need to make a to do list for errands and household chores, and find a way to squeeze everything in in between appointments.

good luck with all that you have to do today.
