You are right, Donna... it really isn't that long to wait. I was overreacting yesterday because I just feel SO S-TTY. Waiting may actually not be a bad thing since I have so much going on in the upcoming week.

I have that terrible test in Boston on Tuesday, and it involves an MRI, so I wouldn't be able to wear the halter because metal is a no-no.

Wednesday I have my Tysabri (MS med) infusion.
And I'm scheduled to have a pool PT session on Friday. I'll still have the halter monitor on then because the order is for 48 vs. 24 hours, so I'll have to cancel the appointment for this week.

Thank God I woke up feeling better this morning than I did the 2 before, which were scary. I haven't showered, cleaned the cat boxes, or brushed my teeth yet tho. That's when the real "magic" usually happens.

I'm trying hard not to overmedicate myself, but I did it again yesterday. I think I've been trying too hard to make sure my anxiety isn't causing my symptoms, that's why I've been overdoing it.

I have to go to the dispensary today to buy more medical MJ. I have only taken my 1mg dose of Klonopin and don't intend to take more before I go. I don't know if I should take 1/4mg more when I get home since I have been taking that lately.

Mari, I always make my own sauce. I start with Cento all-purpose crushed tomatoes. I use dried spices. How elaborate the sauce is depends on how late my nap goes, and how I feel when I wake up.

Kay,

It was so long ago that I made spaghetti sauce like that. Yours sounds good.

Keeping up with medical takes time and practice. I think that some get better at it than others. You seem to be doing a good job with appts and medicating.

The list of appointments I keep in the notebook in my purse is a mess. I have to rewrite it because I refer to it when I'm looking to schedule new appointments, etc. I also use it to put the events in my iPhone calendar where I schedule alerts. I'm behind on doing that.

I woke up this morning feeling just awful. I could barely sit up without feeling like I was going to pass out. I went back to bed just to lay down a couple of times. I'm feeling slightly better now, but I'm not ready to attempt to get in the shower. I'm considering going back to bed to nap for a while to see how I feel when I get up.

I was planning on going grocery shopping today. I don't know if I will feel well enough to do it later. If I can't, it will throw a real monkey wrench into my weekend plans. I was hoping to get Corey to the laundromat tomorrow, and the food shopping can't wait until Monday. I don't know if the laundromat will be open on Memorial Day, or if Corey will want to go then.

I went to the dispensary yesterday. They didn't have anything I've ever tried before, so I was forced to be adventurous (with the advice of the sales girl). I bought two types of medical MJ and I'm eager to try them.

I just reread my post and it reminded me I still have to straighten out my list of appointments and the calendar on my phone...

I did go back to bed yesterday morning for a couple of hours. It took me a while to get going. I felt okay to go grocery shopping, but it wasn't until about 3. I took my time, so I didn't get home until 5. I really could have used another nap after my outing, but it was too late in the day by then.

I woke up at 6am as usual and felt terrible again. I had a cigarette and a cup of of coffee, and went back to bed around 7. I didn't wake up again until 11:30!

Laundry will have to wait until tomorrow. It's too late in the day to do it now.

Thank you ladies!

I think the longer I go without hearing about the halter monitor results, the better the odds are that they will come back normal. So, right now, I'm feeling cautiously optimistic.

I still haven't gotten a call back from my gastro's office about the results of the defecography study. I will have to call back again today. The "longer it takes the better" doesn't apply to these test results... their office just stinks.

I feel better this morning than I have in weeks (knock on wood). I'm still having the same symptoms, but they've been happening less often so far today. I still have to clean the cat boxes, take a shower, etc. so we'll see what happens.

I have had a really hard time with prescriptions...
On Monday, my pdoc wrote me scripts for Klonopin (4 pills left) and Topamax (3 pills left). CVS called and left a message while I was driving, and I got another call from them, which I answered, when I got home...
The pharmacy tech told me that they had no Klonopin, neither did any other CVS's in the area, and they had no idea when it would come in because there was a problem with the manufacturer. She said they were recommending people ask their providers to write "alternate scripts." I clarified that point with her, and by that she meant a similar med like Xanax vs. Klonopin!
Then I listened to the voice mail. Apparently they were also out of Topamax, which was on "special order," and the message said they would call me when the script was filled. No time table.
I called and left a message for my pdoc about the Klonopin, and she had one of the secretaries call around. As it turns out, the pharmacy I used to go to had it in stock! I was in the area getting my nails done yesterday, so it ended up working out perfectly!
I also needed Synthroid (3 pills) from my PCP, which was called in right away with no issues, and Protonix (1 pill) from my gastro.
When I went to pick up my Klonopin yesterday, I had to wait for them to fill the Protonix because my gastro's office called it in to the wrong pharmacy AGAIN despite trying to change my pharmacy info 3 times. At least I didn't have to make a separate trip to go pick it up.
Anyway, I got a call this morning saying the Topamax is ready, so when I go to my local CVS today I will finally have everything I need.
I hope I get an opportunity to take a survey this visit because I am BS. Obviously the issue with the Protonix wasn't their fault tho.

I went grocery shopping yesterday, which was NOT fun. But I have no obligations for today or tomorrow. I just have to get to a body piercer at one point to put 2 pairs of my cartilage earrings back in because I can't, and Corey won't even try to do it since I changed the jewelry.

He was in a much better mood yesterday. Thank God for small favors.

Yesterday did not end up being a good day
I did spent more time sitting on my a- than I have in a long time. I didn't get out to have my earrings put in, and I didn't get any cleaning done, but I absolutely had to go to CVS, and that was hard enough. At least now I have all the meds I need.

I still haven't gotten any test results yet. I will call the gastro today to get the results of the defecography study. By now, the NP and/or gastro have had enough time to read the report, and if I call EARLY, someone should be able to find the time to call me back, but their follow-up is terrible, so IDK.
I'm not exactly eager to get the results of the halter monitor right now because I'm nervous about it again.

I hope to do some light cleaning today, and ideally get out to have my cartilage jewelry put back in. Realistically, it would be nice if I could get any of that done... I have NO energy.

I bought myself a new purse online yesterday. I had to buy the wallet off of Amazon because the website I bought the bag off of didn't have one that I liked. I can't wait for them to arrive... I need a little pick me up right now!
