Vitamin B1 (thiamine) and dementia - Gibson - 216 - Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences - Wiley Online Library
B1 helps with neurological problems, including cognitive deficits and encephalopathy.

Mdoc told me to take Folate (B - Vitamins) to avoid alzheimer's. I have a gene mutation that is involved in alzheimer's but I am not consistent about taking the supplement.
Taking too much is related to cancer -- I would need a few months working with one doc to get all of this figured out.
