I am proud of myself for I made it through the easter party alcohol free.
Even more proud of myself....going home from the party I said what the heck I will stop off at the grocery store and pick up some beer. Went in and looked around, nothing sounded good....Then I came upon a sparkling hard water with only 90 calories each and stared at it for a while and decided that I made it thru the party with out drinking then I could make it the rest of the day not drinking. So I turned around and went home and poured myself a ginger root beer....no calories.
I am still full from the big dinner. I over ate!!!
There was only one other female there and she was not very talkative.
I tried to stay busy doing dishes, I am not really good in social situations.
I am doing a load of laundry, my uniforms for tomorrow. Did a little paper work then talked with jeff on the phone. They had a wonderful easter dinner. Some friends came over, they are coming for festival international in 3 weeks. Jeff was surprised the I remained AF at the party.
Maybe I can get back to healthy eating and back to the gym. I really fell off the wagon.
I weighed myself and I weighed 175 this morning, not happy about that at all.
Going to go to bed early tonight.
My laundry should not take that long.

It's wonderful that you were able to stay AF at the party and didn't pick up any drinks at the store! You were very strong!

I have done dishes and clean up when I have been uncomfortable at parties, too. I'm sorry that the only other female there was not very outgoing/friendly

Those extra pounds came on quickly, so I think that you just need to poop and drink more water to get rid of some salt, and you will lose some of it

Good job Bobby.

Bizi, I'm so proud of you. I also think that the weight will be back down in a couple days. Just give it time.

Mine is done close to 205, I'm hoping to hit 200 soon. But I will just wait till I do. Its not something that I will be working on. I just know it will happen sometime hopefully this month.

Just life getting in the way. Heehee

I am proud of myself. I started doing my taxes and found an error on my husbands w2 concerning our health savings account.
He is out of town right now so he said he would go to human resources when he returns to fix the error. I put in the correct number....I hope it goes thru.
We'll see.I think I am about 2/3rds done. It makes me so nervous doing them.
I have always done them myself using tax act on line.
Being self employed, I like doing them myself.
I think I would save lots of money if I had to use a tax service.
I am finished for now.
Think I will pop some corn before I go to bed.

We used a tax accountant for a few years after Hubby had some kind of hassle. Also when we bought the house years ago and had some tax advantages for
doing certain upgrades.

After that, at one point someone stole his social security number and got his refund so for a few years he had to deal with work arounds that the IRS set up for him. We live near-ish the IRS office so he was comfortable going there.
=-=-=-=-

This year, he went back to doing it himself online. He showed it to me before he sent it off. And I asked a question or two and then we were done.

Our taxes are simple and I use H&R Block software, but I still get nervous doing our taxes. I used to just do them myself, but that was a long time ago. I've lost a few marbles since then lol.

With your taxes being more complicated, I think an accountant would charge you a mint. You are wise to do them yourself. I'm sure that the software will give you the guidance you need, since you have successfully used it in the past

I think it's great that put some work in on them. I hope it doesn't take long for HR to fix Jeff's W2 when he gets back.

Bizi
Meant to ask you is Jeff's mom's area getting the flooding in Indy. I know that I65 has been closed in parts down there. But not sure what all is going on.
Stupid mother nature doesn't like us right now. First all the snow the last two weekends, now the rain.

And I need to travel to two counties the next two days that are bad when the rain comes. Hoping I can get to them. We will see what happens.

Ugh, everyone, rain rain go away is the theme here in my neck of the woods please. Snow too, I don't want a rainy or white birthday this year.
