I have a whole spiral bound notebook that I keep all of our user IDs and passwords in. Corey is constantly asking me for log-in info. I don't need the whole thing, but it's easier to keep everything together. Of course it is well hidden, but in a place I can easily remember.

I will keep my fingers crossed that Apple comes through for you.

I was wondering... when you bought your new Mac, how hard was it to transfer your files from the old computer?

I've only ever used Macs at home. I learned computers in the early 1990s
on a Mac computer that a roommate had.
For word processing I use software from "Microsoft Word" instead of Apple's "Pages."

I am locked out of my email.
It says that the password is wrong -- even though I am reading from the bound notebook I have.
The email is giving me the option to send a code to me via TEXT on my phone.
My phone is still not working.

I've never even heard of Apple Pages. lol. I use MS Office/Word, too.

I hope that your phone gets fixed soon tho. I would be freaking out. I hope if your husband does take your phone to the store they can resolve all the issues you are having with it for you :hug::hug::hug:

Corey and I have both had problems with our iPhones telling us our email passwords were wrong. We were certain we had the correct passwords, so we deleted our email accounts on our phones, and set them back up again. That fixed the problem, but then we were stuck with hundreds of old previously deleted emails that we had to delete again.

Phone is working
 

I called Apple and got a wonderful person.

She requested permission to "mirror" my computer -- she could point with her
arrow when she needed me to click on something.
The Apple lady and I were on the phone for over an hour.


I had Hubby sit next to me.



The phone needed about another hour to reload/reset.
Lots of stuff did not survive the disaster: photos, books, music, audio reminders
apps that I had downloaded.


I certainly do not feel up to re-downloading tonight -- might do it in a couple of days. Some of those things I won't ever get back but anything I purchased from itunes or Amazon or whatever I should be able to get back
