My thought on this is going to sound really odd. But when my stomach
is either upset or something like that. I have found that the chilled
form of yogurt that has a really smooth taste too it. Helps me a lot.
All I've been able to find at the dollar general here in my little town
is an chocolate one. But I really like the strawberry one too. It
has to be the really chilled or smooth one, with no pieces of fruit
in it.

I love oatmeal and if I have an upset stomach it only helps me if
its either the brown sugar and honey or the other one that goes like that.
I can't remember its name. The regular oatmeal doesn't help.

spent about 1/2 hour with my youngest nephew and his two sons(12 and 10)and wife yesterday. they came into nyc for an event. It was very very nice and he really wants me to meet him for lunch. I said yes.
This morning I go to a cardiologist who gives shots for cholesterol lowering. I don't know if it would cost me money or not. If it costs extra money besides 20 dollars I won't.
bought a new scale this morning. my balance is off and the digital I have keeps on registering err so I got a mechanical scale.
I think my nephew loves me besides wanting to know family history. I guess he trusts me that I wouldn't mention negative stuff about my parents in front of the kids

Bobby

You are once again taking care of yourself. Way to go.

I'm so glad you are going out to lunch with your youngest nephew.
I think that is what you called him. Ugh memory.
And Hoping you get the shot for the cholesterol.
I'm glad you bought the scales.

Keep up the good work.

the insurance company has to give approval for the shots which would probably be every other week in a muscle and I would have to self administer it.
I am really glad I saw my nephew and his family. it felt like family which is so rare for me now and in the past.
I see the rabbi on thursday.

don't know what to say to the doctor this morning. still depressed and have trouble sleeping and my appetite with this new med has increased ugh

Dmom3005 01-08-2019 11:20 AM

Good luck with the doctor. With the eating. Try getting foods
that will help with the weight, such as more protein and vegetables and
fruits.

Also the sleeping might be because you are not doing more things.
So just sleep when you can. Read when you can't especially
later at night.

Also do you have an cell phone, I've lately gotten into the coloring
pages. I'm really enjoying them. They are really relaxing and
give me something else to do. They also help with the need to
relax before sleeping.

That is wonderful about your nephew! :):):)

I think it would probably be a good idea to get the cholesterol-lowering injections, but not if you have to self-administer them into a muscle. It isn't easy...
Your insurance will probably approve them. Ask the doctor if you can apply to have them administered in the office, or have a visiting nurse come do it if you decide you want to have them. It's not out of the ordinary for that to be done.

I hope that the Rabbi's visit on Thursday is uplifting :hug::hug:

How is your stomach feeling today?

mymorgy 01-08-2019 02:45 PM

my sleeping is very complicated. it is not about boredom. I don't eat much meat anymore but having more fruit. the doctor switched medication that increases the appetite. aplenzin is the new medication

the doctor didn't say it was hard and would have me come in to demonstrate it. the pharmacy wouldn't do it. It was too long a wait for medicare to see if visiting nurse would come in. rats. she explained it just as a jab with a pen. the stomach is the same

mymorgy 01-08-2019 04:54 PM

cecilia said she would do it
