I just discovered fraudulent activity on my account/ credit card. 3 charges total. I reported them and they stopped the account. so have to get a new Credit card.
they will send it in 2-3 work days.
so I will get it next week.

what a pain. I forgot to update my ooma account but they sent an email and a call.
I am so angry at my doctor. I think I am going to cancel the appt with him on monday and say I have to have a medicare doctor. I will ask his secretary if he will give me a referral. I am just on the antidepressant now-nothing else worked and I don't know if this one works yet. I am obsessing about getting out of jury duty even though it might be a year or two away. I hope the new doctor highly recommended will take me and then write the script for the antidepressant so I won't even need a psychiatrist.

Perhaps your new mdoc will be able to write your RX for the anti depressant.
He may not do that though if you have not been stable for quite some time.

I can't take stress. I don't sleep well. I don't even know if this antidepressant works. I have anxiety which nothing has helped. I have to deal with the effects of the stroke. My right leg hurts a lot and I have trouble walking, little endurance and I have trouble sitting for more than a half hour. I am stable for me. I don't think I want the last two sessions with the pdoc. It will be too stressful. Hopefully if I continue to ride the bike I will feel better.
I woke up with a stomach ache from all the worry.

I have stayed away from ebay for two days now. I mentioned there is going to be a support group in my building for people that live alone. I speak to zeynep who is brilliant and well read on current affairs practically every day. she does most of the talking.I have lost about 5 pounds. transferring all the passwords and urls is going to be very stressful. the computer is here but I don't know when robert will install it. with pudge and everything else it has been the most stressful time. I still have a lot of klonopin and am cutting it into fourths instead of going cold turkey.

It is good that you are cutting them into 4ths. I would try 3/4ths (1 1/2 mg) a pill for a few weeks then half (1mg)for a few weeks then half that for a few weeks.
I wish you had smaller doses pills like .5mg pills they are much easier to cut into smaller amounts that would be a better easier taper.really ideally you could cut the quarters into little bits but that is difficult to do.

My dear Bobby, You sound SOOOO stressed out!

Getting out of jury duty should be easy. ANY of your doctors can write you a letter saying that you are elderly and "home-bound," and I doubt any of them will have a problem doing so. That should do the trick when the time comes, so do not worry about that.

I'm glad that you are tapering off the Klonopin, even if it is in your own way. I take a much smaller dose than you do, and go through withdrawals if I skip a couple of days.

It is highly unlikely that a GP/PCP will prescribe any psych meds for you. They are usually VERY hesitant to do that, and they are more unlikely to do it since you are bipolar

I'm very happy to hear that they will be starting that support group in your building... that's just fantastic!

You may want to call Dorot to see if they are interested in your excess clothing. They may have people in need, and they gave been good to you.

I thought gps do prescribe antidepressants. I think I am through with psychiatrists. I don't really respond to medication except having side effects and this last pdoc didn't talk about anything except medication and trying new things. I am pretty sure I will cancel his appt and say I need a medicare doctor and it is too stressful coming in for the last two times since it is only for an antidepressant.
this has been the most stressful time. thank God today is the superbowl and boy do I hope brady wins!

I once saw a DO osteopathic doctor. who was going to prescribe my meds for me as I had been stable for quite some time. But she said she still wanted me to see my pdoc every 6months. I called my pdoc and she she would not see me if she did not manage my meds.
so I still see her for my meds and we talk.
She will be thrilled that I went to AA a few times...

the antidepressant isn't working.he tried so many. I found the name of a pdoc my friend went to who specializes in geriatric clients. I will call and see tomorrow. my stomach ache came back. I will probably wind up with no medication
