First, have the pt slow down if its causing your lower back pain. See if you can figure out what is causing the pain in the lower back. Start with having her help you by giving an massage maybe instead of the other things she has been doing. Then have her work on helping with the keeping the pain down to an tolerated level. I would ask her to work on the pain then to start the exercises again slowly.:grouphug: Donna |
the pain was caused by an exercise she had me do when I had her before and then the sessions ran out.

perhaps the exercises she gave you aggravated the prior injury?

Try starting out your next session by discussing your pain and the weakness in your leg, and maybe the PT can identify what exercises caused your symptoms, and what things may help alleviate them. I wouldn't start any exercises until you do that.
Can you get the Blue Emu on the area where you have back pain yourself? Do you have any idea of when Robert may set up your new computer for you? I would be getting itchy!!! |
I have blue emu thanks to you. It was the bridge exercise which I already told her. I also have trouble from the stroke. Last time she made me lift my right weak leg when it didn't want to go. I will tell her that immediately. I have been praying to God to take care of me. I still have stomach pains. I called my old gps to get a copy of my blood work and was only sent the a1c. she said that is all she had for oct 29 but she will send me all the others.-strange

robert hasn't had time yet but maybe at the end of the month
|
Do NOT do that bridge exercise!!!
It's your body. Don't do anything you that makes you feel uncomfortable. You can decline to do anything. And you can say STOP at any point. It is strange about the blood work. |
we stopped after I did it three times.

You can also ask her if she would mind putting a little of the blue emu on the back after you are done. If it helps. I would wait till your done is you can then tell if it starts hurting while doing the exercises. And I agree don't do the bridge exercise like you had planned not to. Donna :grouphug: |
