Bobby,
I don't blame you for wanting to stop both meds. If I remember correctly, you were on the Xanax before you were on the Cymbalta, and you weren't itchy then? You have to taper off the Xanax unless you are on a very low dose, or you will go through withdrawals unless you have some Klonopin left and are going right back on that... You have to be on something for anxiety anyway. I would call your pdoc if you don't have enough Klonopin left to last you until your next appointment if you are stopping the Xanax. I hope the itching goes away... You may want to try Aveeno's Skin Relief Body Wash. It's worked really well for me in the past, and I haven't needed lotion afterwards, but I've used it anyway. They have a bath soak, but it makes the bottom of the tub really slippery (I remember that from when I could take a bath). I hope the itching goes away soon ![]() ![]() ![]() |
