Mari, sometimes it takes me more than one day to recover from med mistakes too, and this one was a doozy...
I was particularly tired and I didn't feel well yesterday, so maybe my body was still trying to bounce back from it. But it's not unusual for me to feel like total s-, so who the f- knows. I have pool PT at 10:15am this morning. I'm looking forward to it. I have to go grocery shopping today, and I planned on trying Stop and Shop's pick up service for the first time. Unfortunately, I had to wait until Corey came home to find out what he wanted. So, by the time I tried to choose a pick-up time, the earliest I could get was 3-4pm, which is too late in the day for me... So, I guess I will have to wait to try that service another time, and I'll have to drag myself through the store again today. My list is WAY too long. I will have to cut it down, and plan on shopping again later in the week, to make things more manageable. I usually nap early after going to the supermarket, but I'll have to stay up until 2-2:30pm to wait for the postman because Corey's Blue Emu is arriving, unless he comes home early from work, and can answer the door. I won $100 on a scratch ticket yesterday! It's not a lot, but I'm very happy because I never win more than $10-20 on those things. I don't know if I will buy two more, or just take the money and run? My next door neighbor has been having a hard time financially, and has been very depressed. She said she only had $24 in her checking account after gassing up her car the other day. I offered to GIVE her money twice, but she refused my offers. Since I just won the money on the scratch ticket, I slid an envelope with a $20 bill under her door. I left no indication of who the money was from. |
congratulations on the $100 and you are a very generous lady. That was very thoughtful of you.:) I am surprised that the emu has to be signed for if that is what you mean. If you weren't home would not they leave it at the office?
I am excited to hear how the grocery service drive up works out for you. That is when ever you use it. I hope PT goes well for you today. ((((HUGS))))) bizi bizi |
that was so very nice of you

Good luck with the shopping and all the other things. I am so glad you
won the $100. I also think it was nice to slide the $20 under your neighbors door. She will get a nice surprise. Donna :grouphug: |
Kay,
Is the blue emu oil new to him? I looked it up because its odd name caught my attention.:) The pool sounds good. M |
Mary probably knows it was me who left the money, but hopefully by leaving it anonymously on her doorstep, she won't feel embarrassed about accepting it, and won't feel obligated to pay it back. If she asks me, I will tell her the truth tho.
Our leasing office is off-site, so there is nobody to sign for packages here. My mailman won't leave anything that won't fit in the mailbox whether or not a signature is required because the post office says there's no safe place to leave it. It's very frustrating to have to be here/be awake for deliveries. It's possible that packages have a habit of disappearing around here tho. I know that my renters' insurance went up quite a bit when we moved here, which I thought was unusual. We live in the sticks, but there are A LOT of apartments spread out in our complex. This is the first time Corey has tried the Blue Emu. I put it on his shoulder last night, and he said it really helped fast, and his shoulder still felt better when he went to bed. He kept going on about how amazed he was about how well it worked because he's tried so many things that don't do s-. Pool PT went well. I got through my exercises pretty quickly this time around, but I limited some of the reps I did for exercises that were tiring my muscles out or aggravating pain too much. I'm still feeling the workout this morning tho. Afterwards, I went to the butcher shop. It's not exactly around the corner anymore, and the one that is closer to me is just terrible. So, I bought a couple of steaks and chops while I was In the area. That's what freezers are for. When I went grocery shopping, I "pulled something" in pretty much the whole left side of myself putting a case of water into the cart, but I shouldn't be doing things like that, so I guess I deserved it. Our upstairs neighbors had a little party last night, but they weren't very loud when they were outside when it got late, they kept their window closed, and kept they kept banging to a minimum :) Janet from the leasing office must have called Ellen, my b- upstairs neighbor, and whatever she said worked :) Let's see if it sticks tho... |
Sorry about the side. I'm glad you did good in pool therapy.
I'm glad the neighbors did quiet things. Hopefully it will keep up. If not hopefully Janet can do an reminder. Maybe that is what it will take if nothing else. Donna :grouphug: |
Glad the blue emu works!
Could you PM me the link to it? Thanks bizi you picked up a case of water by yourself!!!! Please don't do that again, ask for help and then leave it in the car for corey to bring it in. (((((HUGS)))) bizi |
Here is the link to the Blue Emu Cream:
Amazon.com: Blue Emu Original Analgesic Cream, 12 Ounce (Packaging May Vary): Health & Personal Care They also have a 4oz container: Amazon.com: Blue-Emu Super Strength Emu Oil, 4 Oz: Health & Personal Care I can only lift a heavy object maybe up/down for a couple of feet for a few seconds, and I usually hurt myself doing it. I put the case of water in the backset of the car, and Corey brought it in. I wonder what Janet said to Ellen to make her change their behavior so drastically? I really don't care because it worked. |
I forgot to mention that the 12oz jar I bought was huge, and a little seems to go a long way.
