It will be cold out tomorrow, but it will be partly sunny all day. Corey doesn't seem to have a problem with my plan to drive that short distance up the street to play the lottery, so it's a plan.

I didn't go to the BR at all yesterday, but had a lot of abdominal discomfort last night. I stayed up until 11pm in case something was going to happen, but it didn't. Nothing this morning aside from cramping either. It must be because I added the fiber supplement in the morning starting on Monday. I will have to go to the BR at some point, and I'm sure it won't be fun.

I'm not having an episode, but I'm really sad that my life revolves around s- now more than ever, and it looks like I will have to struggle forever with this problem :(
I was finally able to get someone at my pdoc's new office on the phone yesterday, and rescheduled my appointment for 1:30 on Monday (which should be a safe time of day). I haven't seen her in at least 7 weeks, which is a long time for me to go without seeing her.

Buddy and Dottie have been very attentive. When I came home from the hospital, Buddy wouldn't leave my side, and Dottie was on her pillow on the couch next to me more than normal, and has been very vocal about getting attention. Buddy has finally realized that he can't step on my belly, and has just been sleeping by my side on between my legs. Rocky has been much more affectionate with me in the last two days., which makes me very happy :)

Corey told me last night that his mother wants to celebrate Christmas on the 23rd this year. It's because she wants to accommodate non- family members, which I think is stupid. I have a feeling that she's going to decide she wants us to come over on Christmas, too. I'm not going to do that. She can come over here if she wants, but I'd rather not have her here either.

Usually we go over early in the afternoon, and stay until around 8pm. I'm really worried that I will have BR problems no matter what day we go over :(
Hopefully I will have a better idea of how my GI system is working, and what to expect, before then...

Hoping you do too Kay.

Glad the kitties are all attentive again. They know where the love is.

I believe that your routine/s will get easier. Be patient and kind with yourself
as you go through this.

Do make Christmas plans that work for you -- not other people.

I had a lot of cramping yesterday, but didn't go to the BR. That was 2 days without all that D I'd been having, or going to the BR at all. The cramping woke me up this morning, and I've gone to the BR a little bit. So far, it's not liquid. Wouldn't it be great if just adding the fiberCon solved the massive liquid D problem permanently? I'm highly skeptical.

My post-op appointment is tomorrow. I can't shake the fear that my surgeon will find something wrong, and I will have to go back into the hospital. I f'ing hope everything's okay. I guess everything feels okay...

I need to call and make an appointment with my PCP/the NP for next week. I have to go. They have moved pretty far away from me temporarily while their office is being remodeled. I hate the idea of driving that far for a pointless appointment, but I have no choice.

At some point, I will drive up the street to play the lottery today. If things go well, and I feel okay, I may go get my car inspected because it's overdue. I didn't think of doing it before I went in for surgery.
Corey and I were supposed to go to the grocery store yesterday or today, but somehow I ended up volunteering to go to the store myself today. I don't think that's a good idea tho because I haven't done much walking and I shouldn't be lifting bags, etc. We definitely need k-cups and water right now, but I can get the coffee, and Corey can pick up a case of water at the convenience store. Then we can do the rest of the grocery shopping together tomorrow after my doctor's appointment.

I need to start working on my Christmas to-do list. I don't know why I keep putting it off. Maybe because I haven't been able to drive and get anything done, which has really set me back. I could potentially get some of the little stuff out of the way today, but IDK how things will go.

Dmom3005 12-13-2018 10:24 AM

Good ideas to get the k-cups. Have Corey get the water.

The rest of things tomorrow. Unless Corey wants something, he
can get it tonight.

You can start your to do list for Christmas today and then finish it
later. Because some of it might need done at the grocery.

Thank you ladies :grouphug:

PCP appointment made
Lottery played
Car inspected
Some Christmas s- out of the way

I did go to the BR yesterday (I think doing some walking helped). It was not all liquid. My belly was very sore last night and Corey leant me the heating pad. It is still sore this morning, but feels sooooo much better than it did before bed.

Corey still thinks that the D is only temporary, and I am just being negative. After I speak to the surgeon about all the gross stuff, I would like him to come into the room so the surgeon can explain to him that it is permanent and needs to be managed.

Dmom3005 12-14-2018 12:35 PM

Sounds like you might need to get a second heating pad.

Or something to help with heat.
