Mrs. Bear,

That is one thing I hate about day time meds, I forget mine also. I have to remember the ones at night or else I won't sleep without them. I hope the Holiday will give you a break from work's stressors.

Default Hi ho

Hi there

long time no see. i hope you manage to grow into the daytime med schedule. i only have am & pm and keep it that way as best i can. i hate when they have me take stuff during the day... coz i forget too. like that's why i don't even try to do vitamins (lunch) any more. tummy won't do them morning or dinner.

still when you have moments of bad stress gradually i think you will start remembering the valium. i could only offer charlatan advice but perhaps you could check with your doc with regard to how much flexibility you have between pills. he may tell you you don't have to be too rigid regarding times or hours-between-doses... at least till you get "into the rhythm?

the other thing would be set your watch or cellphone alarm if you keep either handy.

i hope your stress improves. one way or another. good to see you.

How are my friends? Hi befuddled and waves!

I can barely remember to feed myself during the day. I am glad to hear that others have the same problem with day time meds.

Morning pills don't work for me either. I can't eat when I first wake up so, no pills. I do not want a repeat of an ulcer if I can help it.

Bipolar and deadlines just do not work well, do they. LOL

I will survive. It's just gonna take a little work. (and alot of reaching out to my higher power.)

Arrow you know your body best, but

Dear Mrs. Bear.

you know your body best, but

Valium (nor other benzos) should NOT give you any tummy trouble, they do not favour internal bleeding etc. you might, particularly with higher doses, experience some nausea which however is related to the nervous system and not to gastroenteric issues. Nausea is a possibility with many CNS depressants.

btw, i don't eat in the morning either. my stomach wakes up much later than i do. i have a variety of benzos, one regular, 3 others as needed. i can take any on an empty, very empty stomach (and mine is delicate). none of my 4 inserts give warnings for patients with history of ulcer, nor does RxList for Valium:

RxList - Valium Contraindications
RxList - Valium Side Effects and Interactions

Sooo... you might try the morning Valium despite the empty stomach - perhaps first double check with your GP or gastroenterologist, since i am not a doc, just a benzohead. upon their confirmation, you might be able at least to start your day out "calmer"

~ waves ~ waving away the stressss?

p.s. I have missed you too.

Talking dead lines and live wires

HEAR HEAR! LOUD AND CLEAR!

dang i wish the word deadline would live up to its etymological composition. a line which is dead. dissected, disconnected. beaten like a bad flu. behind you.

deadlines could be called forwardlines. or livelines. or lifelines. or heck, the way they treat us, live wires????

too bad we can't reverse polarity at will!

then again dead lines and live wires are both post-hurricane hazards. guess we just can't win.
