First things first. CONGRATULATIONS on the GRADES. AND BRAG AWAY!!!!! I can tell you for a fact that if you were sending my son those kind of gifts you wouldn't get a written thank you. But you would get a card, signed by him. And it would be a homemade card. And a phone call. But he is different than lots of teens. He is one of a kind in many ways. Its not anything that I technically taught him, its something he wants and loves to do. Honestly. And to tell you the truth those are the only kind of thanks you really want. Next if she doesn't think its worth a thanks remember that next time you get her something. Don't bother spending the money. Get something small that isn't as nice. And then wait and see you'll get the complaint. Then what you do is say politely. Awe, you do have a voice, I wanted to try a experiment, to see if you knew how to say anything about a present. So if I send something nice, you say nothing, but something that you don't think meets to your level of need or queenism. Its not acceptable. So then remember that next time a present arrives, and see if you can remember to send a appropriate thank you. THen the present will be appropriate too the next time. Love ya Nikko, vent all you want. Donna |
