Heart

my multi has 15 mg...not enough huh?

bizi, you want to exfoliate gently. i do daily. it really gives me a softer smoother base to put my makeup on.

St Ives ( at walmart) makes a few gentle ones. they do have apricot seeds, so don't rub your skin hard. i put about a nickel size squirt mixed into my neutragena body wash. i don't buy the face wash..the acne type with the micro beads and stuff, it's more expensive and tends to be harsh.

but even scrubbing your face with a tablespoon a sugar works. it's gentle. melts before you can scrub to much and very easy to rinse off.

crazy huh? you can oily skin...but not have moisture. plus the more of the acne type of skin products you use..and dry up all the oil...your skin just keeps producing more and more. you just have to balance. plus we all need the extra sun screen to protect our beautiful faces.

getting the zits in the hair line...it sounds like your shampoo and conditioner might be adding to the problem. i love the way pantene makes my hair feel..but breaks me out. *sob . head and shoulders..yep they have zinc in them...can help clear that up. they have some great new ones. not just the old funky smelling blue stuff.

i also change my pillow case every night. never ever use a wash cloth or towel twice. no fabric softner in my sheets either. i have very sensitive skin now.

water water. i cut out all soda's. and i really watch the artificial sweetners. maybe mrsd can chime in about that. could be in my mind...but i swear when i drink to many of the sugar free drinks...i break out. my caffiene...1 cup of coffee a day. that took time. lol.

like mrsd says...you have to work it from the inside too. but don't give up. i know it's hard. hormones don't help either.

you are not alone in this bizi. it's just not an easy subject to discuss. my husband doesn't get it. he tells me to use dial bar soap on my face.

can you break your calcium pills?

Thumbs up

Well....jstu got back...was completely over whelmed by the amount of different products to choose from.
Thank you curious for sharing what works for you.
I ended up getting the neutrogena oil-free acne wash cleansing cloths to use at night to take off my make up. then RApid clear pads in the morning...
olay complete all day moisture lotion with spf 15 and benxl peroxide for spot treatments before I put on my make up.
Curious,
do you moisturize with this only once or twice a day?
I think I am going to try it twice a day because the rapid clear pads have alcohol in them and could be drying.
what do you think?

i moisturize 2x a day. after i clean at night i make sure i put on extra around my eyes. don't want crow's feet.

i really like the cleansing clothes. i think it helps to keep the bacteria down. time saver too.

it can be mind boggeling at the products huh?

just remember, that you may feel like you are breaking at more for a week or so. it's just bringing them to the surface faster. don't forget to exfoliate.

if you use a concealer...use it AFTER you apply your makeup. that way you only apply it where you really need it. keeps that caked on look from happening.

the only thing i was ever told about using loafah's and sponges and they they trap the dead skin cells and can be full of bacteria.

i have never used them. maybe someone else will chime in.

i'm glad it's working bizi.

That is all great advice but with someone with rosacea it makes it worse!
I use a gentle foaming face cleanser and a Walmart brand of the Cetaphil skin cream in the AM. I have to use alcohol at night or else I break out super bad in the AM. Its all about balance.
Right now the Rosacea is pretty bad and it looks like I have bad acne.
