Talking Started working out on top of the daily walks

And I feel better, tired a bit but better. I feel my mood is lighter and that things look brighter. So Jack and I both are back to using the Total Gym. Working out on it is hard but it's so good for you. I am so happy we're walking daily now, sometimes twice a day, in fact Jack and I just walked this morning together alone and it was nice. Jackie is having trouble listening and is being disruptive at school. But we think it would be ten times worse if we weren't walking with him like we've been doing since we began a month ago.

It's only been a week that I have been up to working out on top of walking. I was in a lot of pain in my knee and my right arm, but it's pretty much gone now. I think it was just hard for my body to adjust to the rolling around the neighborhood. I got my old 'racing gloves' out (fingerless weight lifting gloves really) and used them today and managed to get up the hills myself which was a really impressive feat IMO.

I hope that we can stay motivated. I feel we can do it and with the new trike for Jackie on the way I am sure HE will stay motivated. I hope that this turns out to be the summer we lose weight and get fit. I am having a lot of thoughts about hitting Forty and I know our bodies change and don't want to lose my last chance to get fit and healthy. I have so much to live for and for so long I have just put everybody else ahead of my needs I feel good to finally be doing something for me alongside my family.

I want to make changes that stick, about six months ago we changed the way we eat, and we're going to alter it a bit more to help kick in the metabolism now and hopefully help generate some more weight loss and healthy results. I feel a lot better and all, but the blood work I am going to get done soon should show good results. I hope I can do this, I just want to be healthy and live longer. Anyway that is what the goal is for Jack and I with making all the changes we've made.

Hope everyone is doing well. I am glad to be able to be part of the forums, it's just so good to have friends who understand me and care about us like I care about them. You guys are the best!

Thanks bizi! I am so glad you're here and that you're my friend. Your posts always make me smile. It's been great so far, Jack and I feed off one another's enthusiasm, so it's worked out (pun intended! LOL) nicely.

Thanks Mari! The same goes for you, I am glad you're here and that you're my friend, you and bizi and the others are so awesome! I am glad it inspired you to work out more because YOU inspired me to start back up on the Total Gym with your posts about working out.

I am just about to go out for a heart raising walk and then work out on the Gym. But I had to come in and see if you both had posted. LOL!! Thanks for caring, it makes me feel good to know you're here for me.
