I think it can be. Once i was put on risperdal, an antipsychotic, those symptoms diminished greatly

Red face

yes abbie,
that sure can be....I ruminate about stuff and can't let go of it when my motor is starting to run too much.
Stress, anxiety, agitation, obcessiveness, impulsivity, worrying, passionate about things that you don't normally find yourself attracted to...this can include people. Talking more than listening, irriated if something or someone questions your motives. Depression so deep that you can become suicidal, Can't concentrate, due to so many thoughts swirling around your mind, starting new projects but can't seem to finish them or your interests subside.
Drastic changes in living situations, like up and moving to another state all of a sudden, increased risk taking behaviors, inhibitions decreased, spending money ,,,that goes back to impulsivity...excessiveness,
for others it is jsut a mixture of emotions so raw and intensified, becoming super sensitive to criticism or perceived criticism or negativity, Many people suffer with dualing diagnosises, alcohol problems, abuse issues from the past, self injury, low self esteem, eating disorders, co-dependant traits, the list goes on and on.
People in general have alot of these same issues, people with bipolar seem to experience a hightened level of emotions to any one of these issues.
WE have many commonalities here because we are human and most of us are females...and this is why we can support each other...
it really is not cut and dry and there are no quick fixes to any of this.
That is why Talk therapy is so important to learn how to cope with your life and circumstances...this takes real maturity and for many of us, medications.
WE are here to listen and provide support.
WE will not judge you.
feel free to talk to us...Post/vent/ share what ever you feel comfortable.
IMO this is the safest way to get some feedback.
welcome abbie.
((((HUGS))))

Thank you.

This is all very overwhelming to me... so new...so raw. Not the feelings but the realization of what may be going on.

I have no official diagnosis as of yet... I go to the doctor next friday.

I have taken a couple of the online "quizzes" that give you an "idea". I've answered them honestly and the results have me more than a bit frightened.

I've always been the type that I can handle everything by myself.... but with the help from a brutally honest friend... I see that I can't.

I can't talk more right now because words are getting in the way....

I'm going to ease into this and slowly accept the facts of what may be going on...
