Well,
I slept about 4 1/2 hours.
I feel pretty good.
The itchyness feels like my nerve endings getting stimulated and I have to scratch.
When I was jsut laying there, I would listen to my hubby breath, listen to the fan, and get hot off and on, cover up, uncover...
wonder if my perimenopause is also taking part in this.

Dear Bizi,
Do you think that the itchiness is part of a benzo withdrawal?

Also, sweating can be part of a withdrawal/detox.

I hope that you can find a way through this soon and get good sleep.

I think you are right Mari,
I also forgot that My heart rate has been elevated, laying in bed it was 90 beats per minute which is fast for "sleeping".
As long as I don't get hypomanic then I will continue this detox.
thanks for your support.

I slept great last night!
perhaps it was because I hadn't slept well all week.

Just wanted to say that happily I slept well without a sleeping pill in over 3 years.
I think the geodon is what let me sleep:rolleyes:
will wait and see about that.

I slept horrible last night, maybe 2 hours of sleep.
guess it is going to be like this up for a few nights then a nights rest from exhaustion...hopefully that will even out over the next few weeks.
That is unless I get hypo manic, then all bets are off.

when

was the last thyroid check up?

Itching/sweating/ racing heart/insomnia? All could be elevated thyroid levels.

Thinking of you.....hope you are getting some much needed sleep.

When is the last time you had a regular check-up with your PCP or GYN?

Might be a good idea..........

P.S. I take my Lamictal at night. Actually I take all my meds at night, I found it much better that way. Except my pain meds, because they are needed usually during the day.

Cymbalta, Trazadone, Klonapin and Lamictal.

Because I think you mentioned taking it in the AM earlier in this thread.

thanks you guys.
my last thyroid was checked about 6 months ago and it was fine.
I really do think that my side effects are from this withdrawl.
I hope I sleep tonight.....hubby is sick and in bed already... so I don't want to keep him up tossing and turning all night...maybe I will sleep in the guest room.
