I'm off to a wedding later today.... my cousin's daughter...

It's about an hour and half from here.... don't worry... I'm not driving...though I wish I were... I'm not too good at riding with others.

At the moment, I'm waiting on my turn to get into the shower then get all fancied up.... lol... for me that means dress slacks and a nice shirt. I'm not a dress person...my legs look like they've been through a meat grinder.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!!

Derrick and I did some garage saling. And then we went to the gym.

I finally got on a couple of bicycles and a tread mill. And then used
a arm machine. So I finally got started, and then we went to
eat trying to make sure its nutritional.

Just had to go and have dessert at cold creamery, but I didn't have
ice cream. I had a strawberry banana smooothie and its extra ingredient
was orange juice, and man I didn't know that would be so good.

I beleive I found a new good nutritional snack.

So another way to stay healthy and have something good.

I’m finally slowing down my mind so in a way I’m better. That is, if you consider a cold, sinus headache and a fever of 103.5 better. But, on the upside, the cold knocked the mania right out of me. I slept most of today and I went to bed around 9 last night. I’ve barely eaten anything. My fever is coming down now, but the head cold is still there and my head is pounding. Do you think going through these cycles messes with the immune system? Anyhow, I’m more level now, not at all racing. I called my pdoc last night and told her how I was feeling and she told me to go to the ER. But my head started to hurt and I couldn’t stand the light so I laid done and went out finally.

The possum is still in my garage. If my head’s better tomorrow I have to figure out how to get him out.

I think I made it through the weekend ok....

Yesterday was long and I hope I never have to travel even around the block in the tiny back seat of a pick up truck.... at least I didn't drive.

Today however was a different story.... I think I should put my car keys in the freezer for a while... in a block of ice that is.... I was all over the place... literally and figuratively....

Normally it takes about 40 to 45 minutes to get to church.... I made it in about 20 and even stopped to get drink at the gas station.

After church I slowed down a bit.. took about 30 minutes to get back home... then.... I drove 35 miles in 20 minutes.... stayed there for about an hour or so.... then drove 70 miles in about 45 minutes (including stopping for gas) to get to another "event". Stayed there about 3 hours.... drove back home about 40 miles in about 25 minutes.

I am exhausted but can't get my brain to slow.... hopefully my meds will knock me out in a few so I can sleep....

Hope everyone is having a good long weekend!!!

Bizi...it is very frightening... i don't realize what's going on while i'm driving... i just notice that all of a sudden... i'm there.

I still can't get my brain to slow down..... argh.... normally i'm out in less than 30 minutes after taking my bedtime meds.... it's been almost 2 hours...

Bizi.... sounds like you had a great time making your pottery pieces....

Abbie,
tell me again what your meds are?
Maybe you have something that can help slow down your brain?
you do need to call your doctor...
and you need to stay home.
Unfortunately you are putting yourself and everyone around you at risk.
So ask your hubby and others to help you to manage now while you are having a rough time.
I am sorry that it is getting this bad.
It is time for medical intervention.

Just wanted to update...

I'm home now, have no idea where my keys are so that's a good thing.

I've contacted the few people in my life that know what's going on and they've all promised to check in on me frequently until I can get a hold of my doctor AND get in to see the psychiatrist.

I finally fell asleep around 2:30 this morning and woke around 8am.

I decided to stop the Provigil and drop my antidepressant meds to half... today. Afraid to do anything more without doc approval.

meds list... Lyrica, Cymbalta, Baclofen, Provigil, Frova, Amitryptiline, Klonopin.

I'm off to sleep... have headache and stomach flu bug is back... or it could just be stress messing with my system...again.

Can I ask when you take your medicines. Because I'm guessing
the amtripline is either for sleeping or headaches.

And the cymbalta is for depression right. And I am curious how much
do you take if you don't mind. Because there has been consideration
to putting me on lyrica for pain along with the cymbalta and I've wondered
how the two would do together. Along with my other meds. I would
definately go off topamax to do this.

JUst wondering about these meds. I'm hoping you don't mind the questions.

My check in, I've had a nice weekend. My biggest problem has been my neck, I can't locate my rice pack but my son he found my heated sleeve.

So last night and today I've used it instead, he is such a treasure. He knew
how much pain I have been in. He didn't go to bed right when we got home.
Instead he stayed up to see if he could locate the rice bag.

And then he found this, and instead I used it. I'm so grateful I could not
be in the pain today as much. Its a lifesaver when he gives me this type
of help. I am just ignoring my husband, according to him all our friends
and family think I baby my son. Well it seems so odd he is the only
one that ever says so.

I give him the amount of freedom that he is safe with, and I just have
to make sure that his seizures are watched in public.
