Hi BJ...I hope when you read this you will be feeling some better. I just thought I would let you know that I have been on Geodon. And it worked well for me. Hang in there.

I think I should have been on Geodon a long time ago. I'm feeling more stable I guess but I'm just so tired and I've had a headache since i started. I called my pdoc and she said that's one of the side effects. I'm only taking 40 2 times a day right now.

Maybe the headache will go away when you've been on it for awhile. When I started taking Seroquel, and had horrible headaches, and digestion problems. I was putting ice packs on my head, taking advil, and the headache still would not go away, and lasted till the evening. The headaches got less, and less painful. Now they have gone away. I still get a few headaches which are normal for me. My stomach is better also. I don't get that terrible headache anymore. Brokenfriend

I'm hoping the geodon side effects lessen.

Brokenfriend, I wanted to say thanks for stating the side effects you had to seroquel.
My son has been on it for many years, but when he first started he was so young, that
side effects didn't happen with a specific medicine. It can really make you wonder
sometimes.

Really. I woke up with terrible headaches in the beginning, and I had some very strange, and vivid dreams. I'd wake up,and wouldn't know where I am. I also had allot of gas,and loose stools.

Those headaches lasted most of the day in the beginning, and now they are gone. I was putting those ice packs on,and they where not helping. It gave me a unusual tast in my mouth in the beginning. Now I can't tell. The vivid dreams are gone, but sometimes when I wake up,I don't know where I am. It's very minor though, and as I get up everything becomes clear again. It doesn't impair my driving, and I can concentrate.

They are filling out the forms for me to possibly get it free, because I hear it's expensive, and I cannot afford it. The seroquel seems to be helping. It sure puts me to sleep. BF

How are you doing? Those trays are a big help. I use them. That way I can remember if I did,or didn't take my medicine as directed during the day,and week. They are really helpful to me. When you are troubled, sometimes you forget to take a dose,or two.

I can't remember how many doses of medicine that I've taken during the day without medicine trays from the pharmacies. Can anyone? Brokenfriend
