"I know!",as Craig would say. I caught the end of it tonight. He is just as funny is they can get. They didn't give him a band. Know respect. lol I think that he is funny with his eye's. His jokes are so silly, and he makes them likeable.

I've been trying to watch more Letterman. I'm tired of Leno, but he's still funny. "I Know!!!!" lol BF

We know a married couple (no kids) that we've been friends with for years that refuse to celebrate thanksgiving. I invitethem every year, but this is their day to crack open a beer and make chili dogs and chips and watch the football game. As Dave puts it "we love kids - and chose not to have any. We love food - especially without the hassle. And we love football, and Thanksgiving is the one day we are guaranteed to have off to enjoy our team and I'll be damned if we ruin it for the sake of tradition and over indulgence" lol.

(and im with you. chinese food + thanksgiving = heartburn and crappy mood. stay home and just enjoy the day relaxing!)

I hope you're feeling better Mari, it stinks to feel like you're being pulled in all kinds of directions at once. I am glad you took a shower, I need to but can't because JAckie is home, so it will have to wait until he's in bed or back to school. I Hate vacation from school. It's just too dmn much. GOnna post a thread, don't feel you have to reply if you're not up to it okay? Take care!

I am sorry you are feeling down and having so much stress. Do only what you feel like doing.

I am not doing anything for Thanksgiving either, yes it is depressing, but it will pass, as everything does.

Enjoy the time you have to yourself, hope today you are feeling better.

Thinking of you, please take care.

Hugs, Nikko

Dear Mari,
It sounds like you took some of your stress away by canceling the thanksgiving outing.
I am glad that you did this,
You were able to say no and hopefully not feel guilty about that.
I am sorry that your friend is ill, that is something that is out of your control, you can just send her a card or call if you want to or not.
You are allowed to change your mind about things that is your right.
I hate driving at night too. The lights reflect off the road and it makes me a little disoriented even in familiar places, I'm a mess in unfamiliar places I have saftey issues as well, and get afraid.
Next time you could just say that you don't like to drive at night or that your vision is poor at night or that you can't go because you have other plans, (they don't need to know those plans that you want/need to read or do yoga to unwind or what ever).
You did well and survived the stress of the driving and such....
I hope that you have a less hecktic day today...the semester is winding up and down.
thinking of you and sending good thoughts your way.
Grateful for your friendship

Friend,
Ferguson sings the opening theme song (It's recorded, but it is his voice.)
But I can't remember -- I think that some nights they don't use it. now

Hello,
Needy friend emailed me back and asked how I could possibly be so tense that I can't handle one outing.
I could tell her that she has been a PIA lately and I really really need a break from her.

For years, I used to order a cooked turkey for hubby, but last year he said we didn't have to do it anymore. He saw that I was not up to it and he was not all that interested anyway.

Bobi -- I like your friends' version of Thanksgiving.
