I'm sleeping better these days. My NP is increasing the dose of seroquel.

I hope that you get enough sleep,and rest over Thanksgiving. Sometimes we sort of burn out,and get tired physically,and emotionally,at the same time. That's a good time to get some shut eye. BF

i was physically exhausted and achey last night and slept a lot. i too needed the sleep. i just woke up after many hours and after popping in and seeing your thread title, i decided i wanted to leave you a note here as i have been absent through your trials. i am glad you have had good support here. i am still not be able to be very present here.

Hats off to you for handling everything thus far, and for cancelling your Thanksgiving plans. I hope you had a soothing evening. I am glad you have your hubby's support.

As for your recently-PIA-needy friend's reply to you, well, that is a very PIA-needy type reply she sent, isn't it. I'm glad you are seeing her neediness and choosing to give yourself the space YOU need. That is hard to do sometimes.

I had promised friend that I would help her pack her apt. this weekend --
but for crying out loud she is not moving into her house until the end of December. !!!!!!
She does not need help "packing" . . . she actually wants me to hang out with her and fret with her.

I do not want to add someone else's NON-issues to my list of things to fret over.
I spent 1.5 years "helping" her buy her house. I'm thinking she can fret this moving bit without my help.

Plus, her apt is full of cat hair and it always gets on my clothes.
I dislike having to come home and have to deal with cat hair.


My sis in Texas has been calling me every night to update me on the family reunion of my father's brothers and sister.
I am very happy that I did not have to spend any time with that group at my parent's house.

Sometimes the universe is very good.
Hubby and I had a good Thanksgiving.

I'm so glad you had a great day. And I think you did the perfect thing for
you.

I did a selfish thing for me this year too. I hadn't planned to do anything.
But my mom invited Derrick and I to her house. And we went.

I went later than Derrick thanks to his schools water problem. And I had
two nights to myself before. But the thing that I did that was really
selfish was I let others do the cooking and cleaning. I haven't felt so
good. And this time I decided I was just going to rest and enjoy the
time.
