Thank you everyone who left me messages on my profile and PMs. It means a lot to me. And Friend I purposely turned off the TV before midnight so I didn't see the new year come. But I thought of you and how you were alone too. You weren't far from my heart

I wore a knee brace after my surgery like I was told and now I have arthrofibrosis which is a loss of motion in my knee due to scarring. I haven’t been able to do the exercises or PT because of the pain in my back. I saw my doctor on Monday and he saw how much pain I was in and he recommended I have a vertebroplasty and not wait. He’s going to inject some sort of cement in the fractured vertebrae in my spine and he said 60% of people have immediate relief from the pain. And while I’m out he’s going to do manipulation on my knee and clean out any loose fragments, scar tissue and bone.

I’m discouraged and depressed but hope that tomorrow when this is all over I’m walking a little better. I have to be there at 6AM and if all goes well I should be home in the evening. He wants me up walking one hour after I’m fully awake because I tend to put out scar tissue right away. He said I shouldn't be in too much pain from the vertebroplasty but he warned me the knee will be quite painful from all the digging he has to do. But pain or no pain I have to start physical therapy on Friday.
