Hello,

How is everyone? How are you feeling?
How was your weekend?

I got my hair color retouched and made it to the grocery store on Sat.

In stead of going to bed tonight, I watched PBS's amazing story of a loggerhead turtle that crosses 9,000 miles of the Pacific Ocean to lay her eggs. It's called The Voyage of the Lonely Turtle. It was a little sad -- but then it seems that lots of things make me sad.

it was an amazing story of the emperior penguins, they have an incredible story.
Jeff is picking up hattie today, hope she works out for our family.

I didn't sleep enough last night so I am exhausted today. I hope to go to bed early tonight.

I baked a whole chicken, made potato salad, and heated up a can of peas for lupper. (Supper and lunch)

Our dear hattie is napping, she is a very playful kitten, 11 weeks old.
It has been a weird weekend, out of town friday and saturday, worked alittle today...very strange.
Regular work day tomorrow of course.

I'm a wimp. I couldn't watch all of it. It was depressing.

Finally got back on here. We had rain for 10 days and everything was flooded in my yard. Verizon came out to hook up FIOS. I'm switching and getting TV, phone and internet for $99 for two years. But I've had nothing but problems and wasn't able to stay connected to the internet for more than a few seconds. I've had Verizon out 4 times and today they came out again and it seems to be fine now.

Waves don't suffer in silence.

Bizi I can't wait to see your new kittie. I went through a terrible time today with an abandoned dog left on the road. There was nothing I could do.

Mari you might want to watch Happy Feet. It's a silly penguin story but it really is a happy movie.

I'll be back. I'm working on my homework for my t. I might need some help from you guys.

Its been a great weekend for me and Derrick.

Derrick got a couple new ribbons at the special olympics track meet
yesterday. It was a awful windy rainy time, but we got to do it indoors.

So 3 of his events weren't done.

And today we went to the Art festival at the high school to see all the
neat art. Derrick's was great. I imagine he has one of the things
that will be the talk of the show. A train exhibit. Its in digital design and
black and white but its very long and done very well.

Then he has three others. And a bunch of ceramics. And his story of
his life was in the exhibit too.

Then his teacher came by and informed him that one of his exhibits took
3rd place so he will win a prize. So he is wondering what he won and
isn't sure which one won.

Now I'm impressed because he is good, but so are lots of other kids.
