Default Sunday Check-In

Hi Folks, I hope everyone will have a good day today. It is 5:34 a.m. by me and I'm just getting ready to go back to bed. I've had a hard time with being able to sleep. I did decide though to stick to my WW program last night and have done good so far. I keep hearing portion, portion, so after I made some potato salad I had a small portion of it.

Good night folks, or should I say good morning.

Pass the potato salad please! I love it....what kind of mayo do you use?
I'm being good about going to Curves five times a week but had popcorn...extra butter popcorn with the movie last night.

Hi Alffe: I use Helman's Light Mayo. I don't know how much better it is than the regular though as far as for weight control. I have not figured out how it'll fit in with my WW tracking yet.

That is great that you go to Curves so much. I should stick to a regular exercise program like walking more.

Cool

Great job alffe! going to curves that is jsut great.
I have been going sporaticly to my gym...about 3 times a week...which is still better than not at all.
But I have really fallen off my "D"....waffles and egg sandwich again....
maybe I should just be resigned to the fact that I will have a great new years resolution....
thank you for being patient with me

Hi Bizi,

You do good going to the gym 3 times a week. I did walk for a short distance today. It made my back hurt worse though coupled with all I did yesterday I suppose.

Happy Sunday gang~
Personally I think we are ALL doing great just being aware of what we are eating! That, to me is a plus! I mean, jeesh, we could be like--the heck with it, give up, and eat everything in sight! I know you guys all know what I'm talking about!

So, we can't be so hard on ourselves! We just hafta get through one day at a time, and if that day wasn't the best, OH WELL---there's always tomorrow! We just won't throw in the towel! I think if we do that, we'll just eat and eat and say I blew it already, so I might as well keep eating. WRONG attitude! Ya know?

At least we are aware that we are kinda blowing it, and will do better tomorrow. To me, that's great. We can do this guys--we know we can! It just won't happen overnight, and we know that too.

I hope everyone's having a great Sunday!
Hugs,
LS

Hey Biz~
I think I just thought up something...... (that's a scary thought)
Naaaaaa you don't hafta LOVE eatin' 'em, but do it a day after ya blew it eating chocolate the previous day. That's what I'm gonna start doing. I have carrots and celery in the fridge now, so I'm trying to eat more of them today cuz I ate cookies yesterday.

Kinda like a trade off. So far it's working. I don't see it like a punnishment or anything, just as a "OK, let's eat them today" attitude. They're cut up and right there when I open the fridge, so I just grab a few of them and munch.

What does everyone else do? I always asked why lettuce couldn't have calories instead of chocolate? Honest! It just doesn't seem fair, ya know?
Hugs,
LS

Talking Good Evening All~

I am just now getting on the computer. I been kinda tied up all day. I cooked for Pastor and family. I just love to have company and they are so nice. It's been a great day! Prase The Lord.

I just had a call from Gaye. She is so full of the spirit tonight, and I do love to talk to her. We are as close as two peas in a pod. We have so much in common and meet on Braintalk. We have been close ever since.

I hope my diets ok. I may have to go on inslin if my sugar don't go down. We had two pies today, but I only eat the punkin. I sent the potatoes & biskets home with them. I will eat, if I don't give it away. Giing it away is the thing to do and make others happy.

Bizi~ I cook with Spenda and go ahead and eat thoses good things. It don't work making candy tho. I tried it! Seeing the pounds come back on is enough to make me qiut the sweets and starch. I try to avoid Fat's. Reading labels is a good habit. Then you know what will happen, if you endulge.

Befuddled2~Sorry to hear you didn't sleep well. I don't either, so I know the feeling. I got sleepy this afternoon, but didn't allow myself the pleasure. I planning on it tonight.

Everyone have a good night.
Pleasent Dreams,
BC
