Dear Pam,
It sounds like you are on your way back to being ok.
You still have a gyn appointment coming up soon -- is that right?

Yup sept. 4th. WIll be the first time I see her too, so I hope she's willing to schedule ablation and removal of the bad ovary when we meet at that first appt. If not I am gonna seriously be a little disappointed and ask WHY, won't let this slide, it needs doing ASAP...

I'm so glad this has finally slowed down for you Pam. I hope you can get in and get this taken care of ASAP.

You know what else is good for low iron...watermelon. Watermelon is the 'iron fruit'. I don't remember why though.

Thanks BJ, I will have to snag some watermelon while they are still in season, I didn't know that about them.

It's good to see you, I am not gonna let the oby/gyn doc leave the room without telling me she's gonna DO the ovary cyst removal and hopefully the ablation too, because I do NOT want to stay on BC pills you know?

BJ thanks from me too for the watermelon is high in iron.

I am on iron supplements, but I still can't get enough.
So I really watch and try to get a couple of foods a day to help.

And I've been craving watermelon. Now I think I know why.
I want it when I feel really tired and upset. And that is usually
when my iron is dangerously low.

Sorry Pam, Didn't mean to hijack on you.
But I can totally understand wanting this thing gone. Good luck.

WOw, that was one great ER doctor.

You now know who to see. I wouldn't go again unless he was on call, if it
was for this.

eheehee
