Does the note or perscription go to the insurance company, or do the clubs reimburse? That would be nice. From what I understand, swimming is recommended for all kinds of disabilities.
i've been working on getting the dog around the block in the morning between 4and 5am. When I use my cane, and go at a slow pace, I can get my right leg to lift about an inch. Its still an abnormal gait as the stride doesn't roll off the ball of my foot, but rather lifts with the foot horizontal to the ground. It requires a rolling gait, and puts pressure on my hip joints, but at least the leg is bending a bit. I'm going to try to keep that up. Not only is it good for my endurance, but for my psyche as well. Sam |

AFAIK, reimbursement is through insurance. Look to the policy or call the company.
Are you describing a form of 'drop foot'? I can relate somewhat. I have a couple of lumbar discs that are so compressed I have bone on bone. My own endurance on outtings has dropped over tha past 3 years from 8 hrs. down to about 1-2 hrs. Doc
