Hi Gillian,
We now have a quorum for a forum. :D Dave |
ahhh hoping another old member will find her way here soon, found her e-mail in the depths of this dratted PC and managed to contact her..

Nice to meet you too...I mostly hung out in the autism & child neuro forums on BT1, but technically my son's issues, although reflect in autistic tendencies and other neuro issues, are metabolic in nature. As long as we keep him 'clean' he is symptom free. Poor kid will NEVER be able to lie about it!
He's been diagnosed with Fructose 1, 6 bisphosphatase deficiency, in turn PDD-NOS and seizure disorder. Thanks for the welcome! KJ |
DocJon, New forum request: Colloid Cyst
DocJon,
Is there a chance we could have a colloid cyst site here like the old BT had? I think many people with this problem could find some comfort and support from others, including myself, who have been through this ordeal. I think anyone who did a Google search would be directed to this site like the old one. Thanks so much John. I feel like I have lost touch with my old ccyst pals, Dodi |
can we also get a pet forum and a swap unused medical equipment?
|
Diabetes too.

Forum Requests
Please post your forum requests here so Doc John can see them all in one neat, and happy place. :)
From now on, all forum request threads that are started will be merged into this thread. :) Thanks. |

Alzheimer's, Dementia & Caregivers
Maybe this is already hear and I just don't see it, but if not I would like to see a forum for the patient as well as the caregiver.
The symptoms of Alzheimer's and Dementia from aging or numerous other reasons are closely related. There are differences, but close enough to combine the 2. The caregiving issue is important, too little attention is given to the health of the caregiver and they get burned out in a hurry. Many times we will find ourselves doing both. I myself have several neuro issue's, but I have been caregiver to MIL who has Alzheimer's Disease. If enough people are interested enough to be a part of a forum like this please speak up. It would be helpful to me, but not if only 1 or 2 others take part. It's not easy taking care of another very sick person. Be honest with your self if you think about being part of a forum of this nature. If you can't take part it is certainly understandable if you don't have time to take anything else on. I would like to see every thing here helpfull. If not, then we need to put the space to a better use. thank you, Julia |
How about a forum for Free Medical Equipment/Services :D ? Pretty please.
... if nothing else, I got to see the Smilie that makes me smile :) ... |
