When I click on "Change Mood" in the upper right hand corner under my profile name it just lists "No Mood" as the only choice is what might be a drop down menu.
But I see in some posts that some members are able to change and list theirs. So...? What am I doing wrong? I searched FAQ and some other areas on the forum and I can't find anything that addresses this issue. ![]() |

Hi
if you have any unread private messages (PMs) or friend requests, then it overrides the mood change once you clear those, you should be able to post your mood, as long as you have the option to display mood checked in your user CP

I am pretty sure I have read all my messages.
I have looked in every section of the User Control Panel to find a box to check or function to enable displaying my mood. Could you please explain exactly where I can find it? |

It's near the upper right corner or the page - Where it says Welcome EsthersDoll
When you click the My Mood area -sometimes it is slow to load them all - wait for a bit to see if they appear.

I already stated in my first post that I found out where to change my mood - it is located in the upper right hand corner under my profile name as you said. The location I was asking for is in reference to what Chemar told me: I need to check a box in my Control Panel in order to display my mood and I'd like to know where that box is in the control panel because I can't find it and I've looked a LOT. When I click on the "Change Mood" after "My Mood:" under my profile name (EsthersDoll) as you've stated, the only choice I have is "No Mood" and if I leave the drop down menu open for three minutes nothing else appears. How long is "a bit" (I'm hoping I don't have to wait longer than 3 minutes... online that feels like forever - I microwaved my dinner while waiting for something else to appear in the open drop down menu.) Please help. ![]() |

Just so you know, sometimes I've had trouble with it myself, and the only choice that loads up is 'No Mood'. The rest stay blank. I think mine is a problem with my internet speed. I wasn't aware there was somewhere in control panel, but I'll go have a peek and get back if I find it.
![]() EDITED to add: Well, I can't find anything in User CP regarding the Mood feature. There is this in under Edit Options in the Control Panel. Quote:
Also did a search in the FAQ but nothing. I just tried to go from Pensive to "No Mood" but it wouldn't do it. I have a very problematic internet connection however so I usually just let it go and next time I try it works for some reason. I just tried it again and it worked. I remember some other users saying they had difficultly changing mood but it always seemed to work fine for them at a later date, so I have no idea what the problem could be. Just a thought..... are you using Google Chrome EsthersDoll? Because if you are, you probably will not be able to change your mood. Try accessing NeuroTalk via Internet Explorer or Firefox and see if that makes a difference; it does for me.

Good thought Koala77.
Ah - I tried it in Comodo Dragon - which is very closely related to Chrome - and the drop down stays blank/white but if you experiment with scrolling & clicking in the blank area - changes will happen... ![]() but it is hit and miss, if something you like appears best to keep it because you might not find it by accident again.. *If they are going to show up it would usually be in less than a minute -about 10 seconds or so for me. They just don't appear instantly most times.*

Off topic sort of msg to Jo...
Jo, when you switched to Comodo, did you happen to notice if your avatar was visible? Just thinking about BF's thread in computer forum. |
