I'm new here and stll trying to understand how Neurotalk and Psych Central work. There is a forum at Psych Central for people who "have to deal with physical ailments, illnesses and concerns in addition to, or helping to cause, our mental health concerns." (Health Support)
But at Psych Central there is an invitation for people with neurological diseases to visit NeuroTalk...
Thank you, Jo, for your attention.

Hi, Bluestone.

Basically you can post at both, or whichever forum you feel more comfortable posting at. Of course, here you can talk about how it affects your mental health, and there you can talk about either as well.

Also, you could split it up.

Or you could post on the depression forum (which has alot of knowledgable ppl) at Psych Central or here at NT or both, and explain that you feel your physical illness is the contributing factor, etc. In fact, thats what I would probably do if I specificallly wanted to discuss the depression/illness link and what might help, as well as what has helped others.

It's just wherever you feel most comfortable.

Good luck and if you need any help with posting, let me know!

KD
