I heard back from one of the BT board members last week and JL told him it would be back online last weekend, but that didn't happen. He mentioned that JL had been very busy at Linden, and has been unable to fix the BT software installation. I don't think JL will give up trying, however, and if it can be done, I'm fairly confident he will find a way to do it.

If you anticipate the negative you will end up creating it

I guess a lot of people would feel so much better if this site had come on maybe even as to 2 weeks before Braintalk went down but it didn't.

That is why some are leary about the protestations of caring and interest in them and thier welfare.

It is going to take a long time to gain respect and to have them believe you all.

Will it be? I don't really know.

It is a work in progress that has many pitfalls to overcome,

Particularly when it follows so close to the original product and has all of the same members.

I understand the few who were banned being here as they needed a place to go but my confidence in others to stay is wanilng.

Anyway good luck to you all as I am off to fight my battle once more. I know ilt is a useless trip but the desire to live out stretches my desire to die.

I will be able to read the site but not be able to post so before the hurrahs start let me say this.

Your all good people and don't let your own personal wants and dislikes as well as political and religious philosophies overtake the good of all who come here.

Bye for now and hopefully see you all back here in about 2 to 3 weeks.

Thelma
I'll miss you Thelma......wishing you the best.

Quick question...When I googled to find this place, I also found the following link:

http://www.irsa.org/

They list "Brain Talk" as a registered trademark or whatever the little R in the circle means. Is that a problem with the current name here?

Smile Thelma!!!!!!!!!!!! lol :)

READERS -- see new post, subject 'thelma' if you would like to wish thelma good luck regarding her paragraph below ....

THELMA -- see new post above. i don't know you and have only read a few of your posts. but i just wanted to say that i greatly admire you and have become a fan of yours!

i really like your 'style' because of your positions on different topics and the way you express yourself. i can read between the lines and see that you are a good, kind, smart, compassionate lady, who is also very opinionated and isn't afraid to voice her opinion!

in fact, i hope i can be just like you when i grow up!!! lol (actually, i am over 50 so i guess i am already supposed to be grown up, huh? lol hmmmm ... i'll bet my husband wouldn't agree that i am already grown up!!! lol)

anyway, i want to wish you luck on whatever it is you are getting ready to go through that you briefly mentioned in a post on 9/30/06. whatever it is you were referring to (see below), it sounds very serious and maybe even life threatening???).

i hope to get to know you better when you return in 2-3 weeks (and you WILL return, trust me!!!). meantime, while you are gone i'll do lots of stretches (lol) for you!!!

hugs and kisses and good wishes for you!! here's a few roses too (if i can figure out how to load them here! if not, just make believe you see them!!! lol)

GET WELL AND COME BACK SOON!!!

p.s. if you can read here while you are gone, why can't you post, at least briefly, just to say how you are? just go to yahoo.com and open an account and come back here as 'thelma2' maybe? just a thought ...

KittyKat,

Maybe you should copy your post to a completely new thread so Thelma can see it easily; cause you're kinda stuck in the middle of this thread, ya know?

And she'd be delighted to click on and first thing she sees is a "get well" thread...may not be too easy for her to navigate after treatment...just a thought
all the best

BT is back - as I knew it would be.

Goodbye!
