you can resize most of your pictures by using your paint program or microsoft photo editor.
find a picture file or a clip art? and right click on it, it should have a list of options, go to -open with - and see what options pop up. I had best luck with microsoft photo editor but if you have any other picture or photo program they will work too. I can help more tomorrow if you need it- or somebody might have an easier way to help you figure it out. |

Hello LoisBa ....
A very nice and helpful member of the old forums turned us on to IrfanView, created by a fellow from Switzerland. It is free and easy to quickly download. It makes avatar creation so easy that it is fun. http://www.irfanview.com/ With this, you can take any picture and turn it into a completely great avatar. The thing you have to do tho, is reduce it to no more than 80 X 80 pixels in size. It consists of cropping your picture so you have the part you most want, then sharpening and/or brightening up the image if needed. You do not need to upload it to anywhere besides BT2. You can only have one avatar at a time to BT2, but you can keep all your other favorites on your own computer. Some people change their avatars regularly, others stick with one or another for longer periods. Irfanview can be used to edit any kind of picture for any purpose. It is not just for avatars - it just makes avatar creation a snap. OneMoreTime Last edited by OneMoreTime; 10-05-2006 at 12:09 AM. Reason: clarity |
