you can't remove the hotbar thru the remove programs either?
No, can't remove the hotbar throuh the add/remove program feature.

When I click on remove, a screen comes up that tells me I can do two things,

There is no way to highlight "remove". It doesn' let you.

It lets you click on "next", or "cancel".

I tried clicking on "next", thinking it might remove SOMETHING, but when I click on next, it tells me 'you haven't selected anything".

How the heck can I select anything when it doesn't let me?

Something smells here, AND IT'S NOT MY CABBAGE SOUP.
