Just watch. When I post this, it will be perfect just to frustrate me.

An example would look like this: My first sentence might go all the way across the page, while the next line
would be half way. I have had this problem on a half dozen computers over the last --- uh --- five years?? Dell, Compaq, Toshiba, etc. all do it. So it HAS to be my fault. I am setting it up wrong or something.

I have asked this question on other forums with zero help, I like for my posts to look half way decent, so I usually go back and
hit the delete key to bring the sentences into alignment. That takes awhile.

ANY SUGGESTIONS would be GREATLY appreciated........thanks
Yes, I see what you mean. BUT when your sentences are broken up that way if you place the point of your cursor at the end of the line above it then hit "delete" key it will erase all the added space and put the next word where it should be, then you just make a space. Just keep going down the post that way in "Edit". Another thing I do once in a while, by accident, is hit the "Insert" key by mistake. Then I lose a letter evertime I type. Now THAT was frustating. Just hit the "Insert" key again if this happens. It acts like a toggle.

Wiix, thank you but I know that one.

Here is the interesting (?) side effect of that one --- Say I have typed ten lines, and my problem line is line 3. I do what you say and I then line 6 is messed up. I correct it, then line 8 gets messed up and so on. So I spend awhile correcting all of them, instead of just doing it right the first time.

I did as suggested and changed my computer per this website and it seems to have made a difference, so far. But other websites are still messed up.

Still working on it....

Dave, I'm thinking this is a browser settings issue. Have you tried creating a new version of your browser and using its natural default settings?

Cindy,
I have had some bad days recently ... by "bad" I mean I can read your post, but my brain is struggling to understand.

What do you mean by create a new version of your browser?

I use Mozilla most of the time. I probably have made some changes to it, although I cannot remember making even one.

Should I reinstall it? Is that what you mean? My Mozilla AND IE have the latest updates.

Sorry I am so dense. Very Frustrating.
