Default How can I resize my photos

At the oprah website they are asking for people who have weight loss success stories and you have to upload photos. I have all the photos, but when I went to upload, I was told they have to be less than 500 or something like that. some of my photos are 691 X 949 JPEG 438 kb.

I can only upload 3 photos. How do I resize these. I don't have any photoshop software but I do have something called IMAGE on my computer.

Is there a way that I can resize the photos?

Here's an example of one of my photos. and don't you dare laugh at my chubby baby face. lol. And is there a way for me to crop Alan and the other person out of the photo? I have no clue how to do this.

Oh, come to think of it, I do have PRINTMASTER SOFTWARE. I may just give that a whirl. I'll let you know. But I really need to know what they are talking about when they say: "less than 500 "

Thanks much.

Okay, I did the Printmaster thing.

Here is how it came out (I can also do this with ALL my other stuff).

Now here is what it said under my photo in the My Pictures folder.

140 x 315 JPEG 17.7 kb

Is this under 500 or whatever they say it needs to be?

Thanks much

Melody

Hi you guys:

guess what I just did?

I went to the Oprah website, submitted my story, uploaded my newly cropped photos (which I did in Printmaster). and guess what?

IT TOOK!!!

The received and acknowledged my submission and my photos.

Now wouldn't it be the coolest thing if the Oprah show contacted me and someday VIA SKYPE, I'm on Oprah, talking about Neuropathy, methylcobalimin and whatever Dr. Oz wants to talk about?

I would laugh my head off if I ever hear from them.

And you better believe I'll bring up neuropathy. Maybe OPRAH can get on the bandwagon.

Or I'll wind up like the millions of the others who contact Oprah and never hear back.

Oh well, I gave it a try!!

lol Melody

There is also a Paint program on XP you can get to it by going to - Start/Programs/Accessories and then down to Paint.

It does more than "painting & drawing"
you can use it to re size pictures & photos also.
under Image - you would click - stretch/skew which makes smaller or larger by % .
or Attributes where you can set to pixels, inches or cm and set exact sizes that way.

I completely forgot about PAINT. But I have Printmaster so it does the same thing.

I can't believe I was ever that young. lol

Default You were that young, and Alan had hair!

What a cute picture of you two.
How old is the little girl now?

You're turning into quite the technology whizz kid!
