Thank you all.
 The program, which is a clipart one, downloads to about 90% then stops each time. It requires 50MB disc space and although there's a possibility that my desktop could be running out of RAM, that would not be the case with my laptop which is new. and....NO....I would not touch the BOOM button Moi! Murphy's Law reigns at my house, so if something could go wrong.... it will go wrong.
