LOL
maybe the IE access was removed at some point did you try this yet? to see if it is showing as a checked box for IE? [go to settings/control panel/ add/remove programs and then on the side tab click add/remove windows components then find the Internet Explorer and make sure that box is checked then click next and follow the prompts.] If IE isn't installed anymore it should then go to the correct files on your hard drive and reinstall it for you. If that does something I'd do a reboot also. But if nothing happens in that area try this- in the Add/Remove area click the -Set program access and defaults click the custom and make sure IE is selected for access as well as FF. after you do that do a reboot of the computer also to see if those changes make a difference. If none of those work. I would go to the same access area and select all Microsoft - just temporarily to see if that makes IE work. Then you can always change it back by selecting the other choices. I think your IE8 needs to have IE 7 to do the upgrade from. unless you can find full version IE8 on the Microsoft website.. might try redownloading IE8 here- http://www.microsoft.com/windows/int...r/default.aspx or here is IE7 - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
