Do you mean you have icons for them?

I made a folder for myself long ago, since we all share the computer. I called it "mom's stuff". I put all my things in there.
I have some sub folders now within it.

You can open Explorer (not internet explorer) and
create a new file, and just click and drag the old stuff into it.
You can create an icon for your new folder at the same time.
Call it whatever you like that you remember easily. The new folder will go to left of the screen, and you then open "desktop" while still in Explorer and click and drag the files you want to move into it. You hold the left click button down, on the file name, keeping the button down, you just move it across the screen into the new folder.
Once you do it, you'll see it is easy.

Once you put the files there, and you have icons all over your
wallpaper still, you can delete those and your opening page will be clear.

I find this hard to describe...here is a link to help:

I am sure Jo will be along soon and she is a whiz with this stuff and most likely can explain it better than I.
