I've been wanting to see the movie Carousel for quite some time now. Watching musicals on TV was the only time mom didn't mind having me in the same room with her. She was too absorbed in the movie to care.
![]() This is a scene from the movie (play version) where they sing the song, but it's not my favorite scene. My favorite is when the man who died sings the song into the ear of his daughter. This song has been a "theme song" of mine ever since I first saw the movie as a little girl.
