Where do i go where should i start
to find the love that shall fill my heart
filling it with love compassion and joy
shall I be bold in looking or shall I be coy
how will I know if this person is the one
how many days weeks and years under this sun
shall i search for this love ever near or far
wishing each night for my hearts desire upon a star
searching for the truest love under the heavens above
my soul and heart ever yearning for true love

snow or snowfall

Oh mighty snow how I smite thee!
 

You're so bitter and cold
Oh how I hate the snow!
Slippery and wet
warm days I quickly forget
snow's piling up outside of my door
and the stupid forecaster keeps calling for MORE
should move to an island in the Caribbean sea
where this nasty white stuff could never reach me
Oh mighty snow how i smite thee
armed with shovels and salt you will never defeat me!

"peanuts"
grown fresh from the ground,
generally they are sold by the pound.
cracked, whole, chopped, roasted or in a spread,
they are a fun snack when one is fed
pbj or in a cookie, sometimes mixed in a bowl
their countless use's we have so many times been told
two to a shell, some salted or plain
a wonderful treat comes sun or rain
the taste pleases my palette and peanuts are their name
but the best tasting peanuts are 10 cents a bag at the game

"Confusion"
 

Confusion I can do,
Comes with the morning dew,
And in the evening too.

Could it possibly be due
To this dark and strange fugue?

Seems that there are few
Too many in this hue.

Light and darkness mix.
Anger - fear to fix.
I'd really like to kick
Confusion to the sticks!

But here I am to ponder
With thoughts that really wander,
And leave me in this quandary!

I dance to starlights in the night

prancing and dancing with delight...

luminous rays envelope me

sparkling lights my dreams carry

beyond the stars, mysteries abound

other universes around and around...

I'd love to walk upon the rainbow bridge

to gossip amongst the stars without infringe

I open my eyes on earth I stand...

starlights winking

beams holding my hand....

standing alone looking through tears
me and two kids alone, so many fears
figured she meant what she said at the alter
never thought through it all she would falter
I gave all I had and more of my heart
was true in soul, spirit and mind, from the very start
how could a mom not love her kids, and show such abate
how could a mom leave two kids and me alone at hells gate

What is a poet
I wonder sometimes,
Some one good with
Words and rhymes.

There's others with words
That fill you with thought.
Such words of wisdom
That can never be bought.

I think of those
Who speak from the heart
With loving caring words
That give your soul a start

I wonder what a poet is
Just about all the time
It's now clear to see
It's all of them combined

So I think a poet is
One who knows
They have feelings they
Are not afraid to show
..........................
So if my thoughts
Are true
Anyone can be a poet
Including you

STAR-BMW-
Yesterday a star
landed in my yard .
Down by the road,
it came with a card.
An Angel danced,
leaving heavens dust.
the warmth it brought
was strong and robust.
I found a star that
was sent just for me.
It came with a
book full of beauty.
Of friendship and trust,
thoughtful love kindness
All hit me with a gust.
Such colorful art to delight!
All to warm my soul when
lost in the dark cold night.
A star was gifted to me
from a friend with heart!!
Lifted off and carried.
To a spot it will never depart.
