And shoulders are soggy from the many tears I have wept.

Looking out the window,
What do I really see?
A bright sunny day,
Or how it seems to me?
Looking out the window,
What do I want to do?
Face the reality,
Or ignore what is true?

What do I feel inside?
Show my emotions,
Or keep them all inside?
Looking out the window,
What do I want to say?
I can find the strength,
To face another day?

A decision of a life can be made in a day
taught to be true and honest, never sway
yet some fall from the path they were taught
to follow ideas they think can be bought
what path does one choose and how to decide
the decision one makes, to it they must abide
follow your path in life and may its course run true
be honest with oneself so you are never without a clue
so as each day passes and you find whats in store
a path was chosen in a day, by stepping through lifes door

In and out of hand it flows
to buy, to barter to save away
in hopes t'wil be enough one day.

Money , thought we need it, true -
cannot- and should not define you
You are much more than what you buy
or own or have a vast supply.

It's who you are that really counts
your loves, your joys, not large "amounts".
So when you start to count your worth,
count all your blessing from your birth

Your wealth will build up so much faster-
The kind of wealth that really lasts
when you count the smiles, kind actions,
prayers, and friends' sweet interactions.

waves come in all shapes and sizes
from cosmic to earthly some with surprises
like the wave at the beach knocking you down
stumbling to regain you feel the clown
some are cosmic and follow lightening to the ground
those thunderous claps fill the air with the wave of sound
watch out its 110 in the shade, yep its a heat wave
find a shelter or building with air just to be saved
look at them all standing in a row at the game
believe it or not the wave is its name
so you see waves come in so many different forms
some so simple some so far from the norm
yet only one can make me tear up in my eye
the wave from my loved one as they say goodbye
