You can ask them over the phone to order for you...you don't have to go back until they come in, to pick them up.

Make sure you find out the size of the package and estimated price before you finalize your request...so there are no surprises.
But they wouldn't force you to take them any in any case.

I special order things at pharmacies all the time.

The self-check outs have been here at Kroger's, Costco and WalMart for years. That CVS must be pretty busy to have them too. Most of our drugstores here have no customers except at the pharmacy part.
