Default I can't take much more

Losing my job has caused me to have to dip into retirement savings. I am afraid I will lose the house, this damn stroke, brain surgery etc has caused so many medical bills, etc. I wonder if I should call my therapist. I just can't stand it

I'm sorry that you're going through this tough time. Unfortunately I'm unable to offer any advice to help out with your financial situation, because any aid that's available in my country would not be relevant in your own. I do hope that some-one else will be able to advise you about that.

Please give your therapist a call. I feel that you need some-one to talk to right now.

SD Fencer,
is there anyone close to you that you can talk to? If you live alone, can a friend stay with you for a while, or even go to the Dr. with you to find out what you can do about your feelings?

The thought of losing your house has to be terrifying. Like Koala, I don't live in the same country as you and am not familiar with your medical or financial benefits. If you are up to it, get online and start looking for answers to getting financial aide and medical aide. There may be a way to stop your losses. Since you have a therapist, by all means, call him/her. Your therapist may have the answer to some of your questions.

Hey SDFencer,
Sounds like you've had it tough for a long time. That can be so exhausting. I hope you will cut yourself a break, maybe try to find some small moments when you allow yourself to just block the struggle out. It's like your running a marathon, don't forget to nourish yourself so you maintain your strength. Stop right now, take 5 deep breaths, (Inhale through your nose, exhale through your mouth)(Your exhale should be twice as long as your inhale). Try not to think about anything but your breathing. I'm going to take my own advice and do the same right now! It doesn't help fix the problem, just the perspective. PEACE!
