Lexapro and remeron

I love this site it's my default site out of the many. Has anyone had any experience on these two meds is I've come of cymbalta the ghard way, I'm now on a cocktail of morphine sulphate , gabapentin and escitralopran and remoron. For nerve and bone damage as well as depresion.has anyone had any good reports from the anti deps . I've just Come off cymbalta the hard way and sill in remission from that posoin.

It is hard coming off cymbalta, I remember it well! Horrible experience, it's a shame they don't tell you in advance if prescribing these things how tough it will be to come off if them. My mum takes lexapro, she seems to be doing ok with it. Maybe try posting in the medication & treatment forum.

I am too sorry you had to experience the withdrawal
It upset the heck out of me when they would not listen to me about the withdraw
The Lexapro is what took me into a deep deep suicidal thoughts
and only coming out of a depression with the help of something new in my life

This was my experience
The latter was severe blisters in mouth
On hands and feet

Baddog, I have never been on Cymbalta but was on Remeron for a while. For me it was worse than useless - suicidal ideation, no attempts. What I am on now is, for me, great.

I think this is quite common - finding the "right" antidepressant for the "right" person can take a while.

I hope that you find one which works well for you.

Hi kiwi, mmmm remeron, doesn't make me sleep and I've only been on it 5 days or so and have picked up the flu side affect as mentioned. Cymbalta worked for a while then turned nasty and after 8 weeks off I still feel slow. Suicidel and should I turn myself in to the hospital as the nerve pain is so painfull in my hand it feels like it's sliced open. Thanks for your reply kiwi.
