Hi Synnove,
The mid central region of the brain is where the brain stem is and that's the area that controls a persons heart, conscious and many other things. It could be possible that when they did the e.e.g. the found spikes meaning more activity in that area of the brain that could be triggering possible sz. If you aren't happy with your neuro start seeing an Epileptologist I have seen many different neuros over the yrs. and I found out in the long run after I started seeing an Epileptologist that they knew much more about epilepsy and how to treat it. Darlene gave you some great advice and I agree with her 100%. Start keeping track of any sz. you may have and write down what time they happen and they type of sz. you had. By doing this you Dr. may be able to see a pattern in any sz. you are having. Here's wishing you only the best of luck and May God Bless You! Sue |
