Chat Hello - I'm back

No I did not pass away - I'm aware of those proclaiming I died, 4.75 years ago!
Jeez... is someone rushing me?

Anyhow, multiple things went on during these missing years.

1) Had 16 surgeries - currently still recovering; battling with the allergy and side effect of an extremely strong antibiotic... I'm still alive and well, TYVM

2) Multiple massive database breaches from every which way but... Insurance to Federal ... whereas:
a) My records became corrupted
b) Who's on first, what's on second, and how's it over there on third and of course no one is at HOME!
c) It's still a mess - no one has yet figured out how on earth I wound up being employed by the Federal Government of the United States when I was 3!

Just for laughs... it was nice to know per several gossipers that I had about 500-750 at my funeral and close to 2200 at my memorial service! Would one call this a "preliminary preview" of what's about to come when I ACTUALLY DIE?

Not so good news:
I) FDA & Insurances decided to play "Doctor" - unable to see my Neuro
II) FDA prohibits me from taking any AED
III) This isn't the first time I've had to deal with this - went as long as 6½ years before I could get back to square one again

Healthwise:
A) Still seizes now and then during sleep (kind of wonder if those AED's I was actually on for extended time did anything! Hmmmm)
B) Officially blind in right eye - happened instantly (non-progressive) .. still adapting to visually seeing in left eye only!
C) Sanity - yeah still have it, otherwise I wouldn't be here! Right? Right? RRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHTTTTT??? ?!!!!

HEY There Southie,

It's great to see you back : ) I'm sorry you've had to go through so many
surgeries and the FDA isn't letting you take seizure meds. I had a DNA test done not long ago and I found out I was drug resistant to all seizure meds out on the market so my Dr. put me on the medical marijuana (CBD oil) and I was amazed how great that has worked for me I've had the least amount of seizures in 45 yrs. and the CBD oil also kills back pain, stops cancer, along with stopping headaches. It's great to hear from you again. I wish you only the best of luck and May God Bless You!

I haven't been on anything since the Obama Care and FDA crushed all of this.

Here's the bottom line: Was being on meds helping the seizures, more so - nocturnal seizures... apparently not! I haven't found any differences between being on meds or off meds... Strange but true.

Like the Surgeons, Admins, Professionals, and other high end Medical - baffling, yes... but even with the EEG's flat-lining.. as one Old Professor said... "Iffin you live dis way an' yer ain't a'dead... den dats the way yer brain works!" (Love his heavy accent)... no one can argue with this old man... unfortunately, he passed away a year and half - more so longer ago!

Hi Sharon,

I agree with you regarding meds I know since I cut back on my meds and went on cbd things are much better and after trying drug after drug for over 40 yrs. I said enough of that.

Do me a favor and send me some warm Florida weather we are getting a wicked ice and snow storm here today through Monday. I have to work a couple more yrs. and I'm headed south I hate winter and I have seen a pattern where I have more seizures in the fall and winter compared to the spring and summer. My Epileptologist told me they are "seasonal seizures' do to lack of serotonin in the fall and winter.

It's great to hear from you, Take good care of yourself and May God Bless You!

Sue

Will this help? And wow, the retirement is coming your way soon! Times fun when you're having flies! It'll all be over before you know it! Congrats!

Here's the Florida snowman - hope it helps!

Hi Southie,

Thanks for sending the picture to remind me of the warm weather. Yes, retirement is coming soon after working in public school for over 31 yrs.
I'm coming down the home stretch and I can't wait then it will be good bye NY and hello Florida. Maybe we will see each other down there since
I want to move to Zypherhills.

Wishing you only the best and May God Bless You,

Sue
